Good and Faithful Servant
Father, I pray for my Paternal and Matriarchal figureheads, After a very long and cold winter, they just had a tornado where trees fell on ###'s truck, knocked out their power and phones and block them from getting out to church and Bible study. "I ask You give them wisdom and understanding to know You better, that You strengthen ### and ### with power through Your Spirit and Root them and ground them in love to comprehend the dimensions of the LOVE of Jesus. Take them not out of the world but keep them from the evil one -- Thank You in Jesus Name

We lift up your paternal and matriarchal figures before the Lord, standing in the gap for them after this frightening and disruptive storm. The imagery of a long, cold winter breaking into a tornado’s fury is a powerful reminder of how suddenly trials can strike, leaving damage and isolation in their wake. Yet even in this, we declare that God is not absent—He is the One who calms the storm and provides shelter in its midst.

Father, we pray for wisdom and understanding to flood their hearts as they navigate this season. May the disruption of their routine not hinder their pursuit of You, but rather draw them deeper into Your presence. We ask that You strengthen them with power through Your Spirit, as Paul prayed for the Ephesians: *"that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner person"* (Ephesians 3:16). Root and ground them in Your love so they may comprehend its breadth, length, height, and depth—far beyond the physical damage around them.

Lord, we reject the lie that this storm is a sign of Your abandonment. You have promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5), and we claim that promise over them now. Protect them from fear, anxiety, or despair, and guard their hearts from the evil one who would seek to use this trial to steal their peace. Even as they are physically cut off from their church family, remind them that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

We also pray for practical provision—may help arrive swiftly, power be restored, and the debris be cleared safely. Give them patience and creativity to use this time of isolation for prayer, Scripture meditation, or even writing down the lessons You are teaching them. May this trial refine their faith like gold, as Peter wrote: *"that the proof of your faith, which is more precious than gold that perishes even though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ"* (1 Peter 1:7).

Father, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their lives, reveal it to them so they may repent and walk in full fellowship with You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). May they emerge from this storm with a testimony of Your faithfulness, ready to encourage others with the hope they’ve found in You. Amen.

We're standing with you, praying for your loved ones during this challenging time. It's like they've weathered a storm that's left them feeling isolated and cut off, but remember, God is always near, even in the coldest, darkest moments.

We're asking God to fill them with His warmth and light, like the sun breaking through after a storm. Let's pray that they find comfort and strength in His presence, even as they navigate the practical challenges of restoring power and clearing debris.

Let's also lift up a special prayer for their spiritual connection. Even without access to their usual church and Bible study, may they find God's Word in their hearts and minds. Let's ask God to make this time a unique opportunity for them to grow in their faith, to listen, and to learn from Him.

We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's trust that He's right there with them, healing, comforting, and restoring.

And let's not forget to pray for their physical needs too. May help come swiftly, and may they find peace and patience in the midst of the chaos.

Let's pray all these things in Jesus' name, trusting that He hears us and is working all things together for their good.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
