When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this burden for pastors, preachers, families and the church and we thank God for your hunger for His presence, His Word and His will to be done.

We are encouraged by your desire to see shepherds seek God in prayer and daily devotion and to be faithful in preparation, intercession for the congregation, diligent study of the Word, a godly lifestyle and sound teaching. This is the biblical pattern for those who labor in the Word. We are reminded that the one who teaches will be judged with greater strictness, James 3:1, and that an overseer must be faithful and able to teach, 1 Timothy 3:2, holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, Titus 1:9, and preaching the word in season and out of season, 2 Timothy 4:2. We pray that every pastor and preacher would continue steadfastly in prayer and in the ministry of the word, Acts 6:4, that they would be anointed and led by the Holy Spirit who will teach you all things, John 14:26, and that you have an anointing from the Holy One, 1 John 2:20, to rightly divide the word of truth.

We also lift up the visiting of families and house churches and the drawing of families to the gathering of the saints. No one can come to Christ unless the Father who sent Him draws him, John 6:44, and we pray that the Father would reveal His Son to each heart, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but our Father who is in heaven, Matthew 16:17. We agree with you that we should not forsake our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, Hebrews 10:25, continuing steadfastly in the apostles teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and prayer, Acts 2:42. We pray for freedom to worship the Father in spirit and truth, John 4:24, with hearts open to receive the implanted word, which is able to save your souls, James 1:21, in humility and with faith that comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, Romans 10:17.

We bring before our Father who is ever present help, Psalm 46:1, the God who is near to all who call upon Him, Deuteronomy 4:7, who says do not be afraid, for I am with you, Isaiah 41:10, our deep thanksgiving for the message of the Lord's Anointed crucified for our sins, for we have been crucified with Christ, Galatians 2:20. Together we ask that He would draw family members, visitors and whole households tonight and tomorrow to hear and listen and understand what the Spirit is saying, for when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth, John 16:13, and that He would grant repentance that leads to life and saving faith and the knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life. We pray that where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint, Proverbs 29:18, so grant vision by the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, Ephesians 1:17, and that He would open their minds to understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45. We ask as a people with hunger like newborn babies for the pure milk of the Word, 1 Peter 2:2, that the Holy Spirit would convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment, John 16:8, and convert and teach all things.

We pray for protection for every family from the evil one, as Jesus prayed that You would keep them from the evil one, John 17:15, for Your people can be destroyed for lack of knowledge, Hosea 4:6, and there is a famine not of bread nor thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord, Amos 8:11. We ask that You break that famine and pour out hearing and understanding. We pray that each one would come expecting to eat the bread and drink the cup in remembrance of the Lord, 1 Corinthians 11:26, not as seldomly or if they get around to it, but often and faithfully, discerning the body of Christ.

We thank You Father that You desire that all people would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4, and that You are not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, and that the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost, Luke 19:10. We come with confidence that this is the confidence which we have toward Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us, 1 John 5:14, and that whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and you shall have it, Mark 11:24, for however many are the promises of God, in Him is the Yes, 2 Corinthians 1:20.

Father, we ask together in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved and no other way to the Father except through Him, that You would seek and save the lost in every household represented, grant faith, repentance and salvation, fill Your church with worshippers in spirit and truth, strengthen pastors to walk in holiness and to preach Your Word with boldness and clarity, and let every family be drawn and kept and built up in love. We trust You to do this for Your glory, in Jesus name, amen.

We hear your heart for your pastors and for your family and your desire to see everyone fed and drawn close to the Lord.

We join you in thanking God for pastors who seek Him in prayer and preparation and for the way He uses faithful teaching and personal care to shepherd a congregation. We also hear how much it means to you that your family would come tonight and tomorrow with open hearts to hear what He is saying.

One thing that has helped us is remembering that growth in faith is usually slow and steady, more like training over time than a single moment. It unfolds through simple, faithful rhythms of time in the Word, honest prayer, and worship together with other believers, all carried by the Holy Spirit who alone brings the growth. Even when progress feels uneven, God is still at work.

A small step that may help in these next hours is to reach out personally to each family member you are praying for with a warm, simple invitation for tonight or tomorrow, and offer to save a seat or go together. That personal connection often opens the door for them to come and to receive.

Father, we thank You for being our ever present help. We lift these pastors to You for strength and clarity as they prepare, and we lift this family to You for hunger to hear and understand. Draw each one close, guard them from the evil one, and give them peace as they seek You. In Jesus name, amen.

Your prayer has in it the very breath of one who has been taught to prize the means of grace and to plead for souls as one who knows that salvation is of the Lord alone.

We join you in thanking God for the message of the Lord's Anointed crucified for our sins, and we join you in asking that He who alone can draw the heart will draw your family members and many others to hear the Word. For as it is written, no man can come except the Father which hath sent Him draw him, and flesh and blood doth not reveal the Messiah, but our Father which is in heaven. It is the Spirit who must convict and convert, who must open minds to understand the Scriptures and guide into all truth.

You do well to pray for pastors and preachers, that they may seek God in prayer, in daily devotion, in preparation, in intercession for the congregation, in study of the Word, in holy lifestyle and in sound teaching, visiting families and watching over the flock. The Lord must anoint the messenger if the message is to have power. We rest upon Jesus Christ crucified and not upon our own earnestness, and we look for that anointing which is from the Anointed One, that the Word may be received not as the word of men but in faith and by revelation, in humility which saves the soul.

And concerning that faith and repentance for which you pray, let us remember what the Scriptures plainly teach. The repentance we ought to preach is one connected with faith, and they come into the soul together. Toward faith repentance might almost be called a Siamese twin. We shall need to believe and to repent as long as we live. There is a carnal repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of sinful nature, which doth not give God glory. But true repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts, gives God glory. Here are scales and balances wherewith you may weigh your repentance. True repentance makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work.

Be it laid down as a great truth that no repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, and no faith is true but that which is linked with a hearty and sincere repentance on account of past sin. Repentance unto life is the act of salvation of the soul, the germ which contains all the essentials of salvation. There are degrees of faith and yet the least faith saves, so there are degrees of repentance and the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere. You must not expect to be perfect in repentance before you are saved, for repentance is a grace and not a condition merited by us, it is the gift of God preached in the name of Jesus Christ.

And that faith for which you ask is a receptive faith. It is the empty cup placed under the flowing stream, the penniless hand held out for heavenly alms, believing on His name and receiving Him. We are saved by faith alone, but not by a faith which is alone, for working faith is merely receptive faith in action, as God worketh in us. Simple faith is always the work of the Spirit, and it is by the Spirit that we continue to exercise faith as we wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. Even little faith is born from above and belongs to the family of the saved. If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, it is like precious faith, though it be not yet like strong faith, and it will grow, for the Lord delights in it.

Therefore we will pray with you and for you. That the Lord would grant to pastors fidelity in the Word and in prayer, and to families a hunger for the sincere milk of the Word, and a holy not forsaking of the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is. That as often as the bread is broken and the cup is taken it may be with discernment of the Lord's body and with thanksgiving. That the Holy Spirit would create a thirst for hearing, for faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, and would keep all from the evil one who loves lack of knowledge and a famine of hearing the Word. That He who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth would seek and save the lost in your households, granting repentance that needs not to be repented of, and faith that rests wholly upon Christ, to the glory of God.

May the Lord hear your seeking and grant your asking according to His will, for when we ask according to His will He heareth us. May He give vision by the Holy Spirit and keep you all in newness of life, abiding in the truth and worshipping in spirit and in truth. We commend you and your family to Him who is our ever present help, praying that tonight and tomorrow and in days to come the Word may be heard, understood, believed and lived, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for pastors and for families to be drawn to hear the Word is heard, and I join you in lifting it before our Father who is ever present help.

It is good to ask that those who preach would first seek God in prayer, in daily devotion, in study of the Word, and in a life that matches sound teaching. As Scripture teaches, the Church is like a household, and he who would care for the Church must first rule well his own house and walk in sobriety and good conduct, so that his life becomes an example to those he serves. Pray that God would keep such men faithful in intercession for the congregation, in visiting families, and in teaching with clarity and truth.

You have asked that family members be drawn to gather, as it is written that no one can come unless the Father draws him, and that we not neglect meeting together. I pray with you that God would grant hunger for the Word as newborn infants long for milk, and that as the Word is preached, faith would come by hearing. Pray that the Father would reveal His Son to each heart, for flesh and blood does not reveal Him, but our Father in heaven, and that the Holy Spirit would convict, teach all things, and open minds to understand the Scriptures.

Remember that our hope rests on the one sacrifice of Christ crucified for our sins. There is not a second cross, but one perfect offering by which He has perfected forever those who are sanctified. This does not take away repentance. Far from it. Repentance remains open, and godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation. If we have stained our lives, we are not cast away into despair, but are called to continually wash away what defiles us by repentance, by tears, by prayers, and by works of mercy, resting our hope not in lineage or in outward forms but in our own turning to God after His loving kindness.

So I pray that God would grant to each one you have named true faith, repentance, and the knowledge of forgiveness, and newness of life. May He give vision by the Holy Spirit and guard all from the evil one who thrives where there is lack of knowledge. May He grant freedom to worship in spirit and truth, with anointing from the Anointed One, and may He cause each to receive the implanted Word with humility which saves the soul, and to continue in the apostles teaching, in fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers.

May the Lord, who wills that none should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth, seek and save the lost in your households and bring them to gather tonight and tomorrow with hearts ready to hear, to understand, and to obey, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
