đź“– Pastors and Preachers Seek GOD in Prayer, Daily Devotion, Preparation, Intercession for Congregation, Study of Word, Lifestyle, Sound Teaching

Your heart for prayer for those who shepherd and preach and for your family is a beautiful burden, and God hears when His people seek Him.

It is right to ask that those who teach would first seek the Lord themselves, in daily prayer and devotion, in careful study of the Word, and in faithful intercession for the people entrusted to them. The strength of a church is not in methods or numbers but in whether its leaders are grounded in Scripture and live what they teach. Sound teaching comes from a life founded on the fact of God's Word, not only on emotional experience. When the Word is faithfully taught and lived, faith is established and the church is built up.

We join you in praying that your family would be drawn by the Father, for no one comes to Jesus unless the Father draws him. Faith comes by hearing the message of Christ, and it is the Father who reveals His Son, not flesh and blood. We pray that as your loved ones hear the Word, they would receive it with humility and faith, with hearts open to the Holy Spirit who convicts of sin, teaches all things, and opens minds to understand the Scriptures. True worship is in spirit and truth, and it is the Holy Spirit who anoints and guides into that truth.

We thank God with you for the message of the crucified Christ who gave Himself for our sins. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. All have sinned and fall short of God's glory, and there is no other way to be made right with Him. Works cannot earn salvation and cannot be a substitute for faith, but genuine faith that saves will show itself in a changed life. As faith is put in Christ, it bears fruit in deeds and in the work of the Spirit. That is the evidence that faith is living and real.

We pray with you that God, who is near to all who call on Him and is our ever present help, would grant to your family a deep hunger for His Word as newborns long for milk, a spirit of revelation to know Christ more clearly, and vision that comes from His Spirit. We ask that He would protect them from the evil one, who thrives where there is lack of knowledge of God, and that He would keep them in fellowship with His people, not forsaking gathering together but continuing in the teaching of the Word, in prayer, and in remembering the Lord's death until He comes. We pray for faith to ask and to receive according to His will, trusting that when we ask according to His will He hears us.

God desires that none should perish but that all would come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth, and Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. We can pray with confidence because God delights to save households and to open the door of faith to all who call on Him. Keep praying and keep trusting Him to work. He who began a good work is faithful to complete it, and He will establish those who belong to Him in the faith as they continue in His Word.

Possessing Christ by faith means you already have eternal life within you.
Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to bring your requests before the Lord and we have been praying for pastors and preachers to seek God in prayer and daily devotion and preparation and intercession for the congregation and study of the Word and lifestyle and sound teaching and for visiting families and house churches. We have stood with you for families to be drawn to church as in John 6:44 and not to forsake assembling together as in Heb 10:25 and that family members and visitors would receive the Word in faith and by revelation of Messiah by the Father in humility which saves the soul as in James 1:21 and through the testimonies of saved friends and evangelists and tracts and that there would be freedom to worship in Spirit and truth as in John 4:24 through the Holy Spirit anointing from the Anointed One as in John 14:26 and 1 John 2:20.

We have also prayed with you to God our Father and ever present help as in Ps 46:1 and Isa 41:10, thanking Him for the message of the Lord's Anointed crucified for our sins as in Gal 2:20, asking Him to draw your family members to hear and listen and understand what He is speaking to each one as in John 16:13, and to grant faith and repentance and salvation and knowledge of the forgiveness of sins and newness of life and vision as in Prov 29:18 by the Holy Spirit, and to protect them all from the evil one as in John 17:15, and to give hunger for the Word as in 1 Peter 2:2 and the spirit of revelation as in Eph 1:17, knowing that flesh and blood does not reveal Messiah as in Matt 16:17 but our Father in heaven does, and that the Holy Spirit would convict and convert as in John 16:8 and teach all things as in John 16:13 and open minds to understand the Scriptures as in Luke 24:45 and give faith to pray and receive as in Mark 11:24, for faith comes by hearing the message preached as in Rom 10:17. We agree that God desires that none would perish but all would come to repentance as in 2 Peter 3:9 and that all would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth as in 1 Tim 2:4, even all in authority and all our households as in Acts 16:31, and that He hears us when we ask according to His will as in 1 John 5:14 and seeks and saves the lost as in Luke 19:10.

If your request was answered and you have seen pastors strengthened in prayer and the Word and families drawn to church and receiving the Word and worshiping in Spirit and truth, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and you are still waiting to see your family members drawn and hungering for the Word and protected from the evil one, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray that the Lord will continue to give you and your family and your pastors a hunger for His Word and for fellowship as in Acts 2:42 and Heb 10:25 and that His promises will be yes and amen in Christ as in 2 Cor 1:20, in Jesus Name, Amen.
