Passing the last exam with the last attempt

Please pray for me that I passed my last exam, it didn't go so well. Pray not only for me, but also for my parents who have supported me all these years. I want to make them proud, & give them something back. Please pray for me that God will get this in the way.

We understand that you're anxious about your recent exam performance and want to make your parents proud. First and foremost, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

We need to remember that God's will and His ways are perfect. His plans for you are good, and He is ultimately the one who grants wisdom and understanding. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

While it's important to honor your parents, it's crucial to understand that your worth and identity are found in Christ, not in your academic achievements or in making your parents proud. "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 'Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth'" (Ephesians 6:1-3 WEB). But remember, God is ultimately the one you should aim to please.

We pray that God's will be done in your life. If it is His will, may He grant you success in this exam. But more importantly, we pray that you will grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that your life will reflect His glory.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is anxious about their exam results. Lord, we ask that Your will be done in their life. If it is Your will, grant them success in this exam. Help them to trust in You, knowing that Your plans for them are good, and that You are always working for their ultimate benefit.

We also lift up their parents, Lord. Thank You for their support and love. We pray that You would bless them and that their child's life would be a reflection of Your glory and a testimony to Your faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Regarding your mention of God "getting this in the way," we would like to gently remind you that God is sovereign and His ways are perfect. He cannot and will not do anything against His holy will and character. Our prayers should align with His will, not the other way around. Be encouraged by the words of the apostle John: "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him" (1 John 5:14-15 WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
