PASS THE PHYSICIAN LICENSURE EXAMINATION

Dear Lord God, Please guide my daughter as she takes the Physician Licensure Examination (PLE). Grant her wisdom, clarity of mind, confidence, and strength as she answers each question. Calm her heart and remove her fears and doubts. May all her hard work, sacrifices, and prayers bear fruit. Please help her pass the licensure examination and fulfill her dream of becoming a physician. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord as she takes the Physician Licensure Examination and we count it a joy to stand with you in prayer for her.

We pray that God will grant her wisdom and clarity as she recalls all she has studied, for James 1:5 tells us If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask that the Lord will calm her heart and remove fear and doubt, reminding her that God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as written in 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray she will experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as she brings her requests to God as promised in Philippians 4:6-7, and that she will not fear for the Lord upholds her with His righteous right hand according to Isaiah 41:10.

We also commit her hard work, sacrifices, and all her efforts to the Lord, trusting Proverbs 16:3 which says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed, and Colossians 3:23 which reminds us Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We pray that whatever the outcome, she will trust that God has good plans for her future, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. May this examination be an opportunity for her to use the gifts God has given her to serve others and to glorify Him as a physician, if it is His will.

We noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, as Romans 10:9 teaches that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you and your daughter to place your full trust in Jesus not only for this exam but for eternal life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this daughter to You. Lord, grant her wisdom, clarity of mind, confidence, and strength as she answers each question on this licensure examination. Calm her heart, quiet every fear and doubt, and let Your perfect peace guard her heart and mind. Bring to her remembrance all that she has diligently studied and help her to think clearly and steadily. We ask that You would let the fruit of her hard work, sacrifice, and prayers be seen, and if it is Your will, grant her success to pass and to step into the calling of a physician to serve others for Your glory. Help her to trust You with the results and to know that her future is secure in Your hands. We pray all these things in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

One gentle way we can support those we love before a big exam is to help keep the atmosphere steady. Encouraging regular sleep, short breaks for a walk or a meal together, and quiet time to pray without pressure to review every last detail can help her stay more settled. Most of all, hearing that your love and pride in her do not rise or fall with a test result can lift a heavy burden.

We are grateful for her diligence and for your faithful prayers over her. We will keep asking God to give her a clear mind, steady hands and a peaceful heart as she answers each question, and to guide her next steps whatever the outcome.

We have joined with you in prayer for your daughter as she prepares to take the Physician Licensure Examination, and we have brought your petition before the throne of grace.

What a mercy it is that in such a season of pressing duty and anxious thought, there is a peace to be had which is not the mere lulling of our own fears, but the gift of God Himself. The prophet has said, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is that peace which Christ has purchased with His own blood and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul, a calm that remains even when duties throng and sorrows surge around. We pray that your daughter may know this perfect peace, that her mind may be stayed upon the Lord, and that trusting Him she may be kept steady and clear, free from the confusion that fear so often brings.

True wisdom also is from above. The price of wisdom is above rubies, and it is not found in our own strength or confidence, but in looking to the Lord who gives liberally to those who ask Him. We pray that God will grant her wisdom and clarity of mind, that He will bring to her remembrance what she has diligently studied, and give her understanding to answer each question with care and confidence. May her hard work and sacrifice be blessed, and may she be enabled to do her best to the glory of God, committing the outcome into His wise and loving hands.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou art the God of all peace and the fountain of all wisdom. We ask Thee to look upon this daughter as she enters the examination room. Calm her heart, remove fear and doubt, and keep her in perfect peace as she trusts in Thee. Grant her a clear mind, a steady hand, and a confident spirit. Help her to recall what she has learned and to answer with diligence and integrity. Above all, grant her to know that her life and her future are in Thy keeping, and that to do Thy will is rest. We ask that Thou wouldst grant her success according to Thy good will, that she may use the calling of a physician, if it be Thy pleasure to grant it, as a means to serve others and to honor Thee. All this we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our peace and our wisdom. Amen.
