Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our hearts in prayer for the sun. We thank You for the light and warmth it provides, a daily reminder of Your creation and sustaining power. As it says in Psalm 19:1, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." We ask that You continue to bless us with the sun's presence, that it may shine brightly and sustain life on Earth.

Lord, we pray that the sun's light may be a symbol of Your eternal light that guides us through the darkness. Just as the sun rises each day, may Your mercies be new every morning. Help us to walk in the light as You are in the light, so that we may have fellowship with one another and be cleansed from all sin by the blood of Jesus.

We also pray for protection from the sun's harmful rays, asking that You shield us and all living creatures from any harm. Let the sun be a source of blessing and not of curse, as we trust in Your divine wisdom and care.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
