We have received your request and we stand with you in prayer for your son.

We bring before our merciful Father his struggle with Parkinsons, his frequent falls, and the painful injury to his ribs. We ask the Lord for His healing touch upon his body, for relief from pain, for steadiness and strength, and for a quick recovery for his ribs. We pray that God would protect him from further harm, sustain him daily in his mission work in Japan, and give him courage and peace as he continues to serve.

We join your desire that Christ would be glorified through this. We pray that the Lords power and mercy would be clearly seen, so that many who have witnessed your sons suffering would also witness Gods goodness and be encouraged to put their hope fully in Him. We remember that God is compassionate and able, and that He hears the prayers offered in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and the promise of everlasting life.

May the Lord comfort you as you intercede from afar, give wisdom to those caring for your son, and fill him with strength for each day. We will continue to pray for his healing according to the Lords perfect will, for complete relief and restoration, and for a testimony that points all who hear it to the glory of God. Thank you for sharing the burden you carry for your son serving on the mission field. We are joining you in prayer for him, for relief from the pain in his ribs, for protection from further falls, and for the Lord's healing touch upon this disease that has afflicted his body.

We believe Jesus Christ is able to heal the body as well as the soul. The Scriptures show Him healing lepers, fever, paralysis and many other infirmities, and they declare that He was shown to be the Son of God with power by His resurrection from the dead. At His baptism the Father said, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. That same Jesus still has authority over the physical realm, and His power is not limited by distance. Once while He was in one place, He spoke a word and a nobleman's son was healed many miles away. Distance is no barrier to the Lord, and we can trust Him for your son even though he is far away.

Jesus, though He is the Son of God, continually resorted to prayer for strength and guidance and life itself. If He saw the need to pray, how much more do we need to bring our needs to the Father. So we come with you to the Father in Jesus name, asking for mercy and healing.

We pray that God would ease the pain in his ribs and bring quick mending, that He would steady your son and lessen the effects of this illness, and if it be His will, that He would grant a complete healing that would be a clear testimony of His power and grace. We know many have seen your son in this condition, and we agree with you that a work of healing would bring glory to God and give hope to others who are watching.

Above all we pray that your son would know the deeper healing of a living relationship with Jesus Christ, for to believe into Him is to receive life in His name and to be adopted as a son of God through Him. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, not withheld but offered for us, that we might be redeemed and receive adoption. Because we are sons, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying Abba, Father. May your son be strengthened in that assurance and in the knowledge that the Father hears the prayers of His children.

We will continue to remember him before the Lord, asking for daily strength for him, for wisdom for those caring for him, and for comfort and peace for you as you love and intercede for him from afar. May the Lord be glorified in his life and may you both be encouraged as you trust the One who honors the Son and does the works of the Father.
