We lift up your hearts in this time of deep concern, knowing how painful it is to see a beloved child walking outside of God’s perfect will. The Scriptures are clear that marriage is a sacred covenant before the Lord, and He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). Yet even more, God’s Word warns against relationships that defile the marriage bed, for He will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers (Hebrews 13:4). Your daughter’s involvement with a man who was not yet free from his marriage is a grievous sin—both fornication and a violation of the marriage covenant that still bound him. The Lord calls us to purity, and any relationship built on such foundations cannot honor Him.
We also grieve for the children caught in this brokenness, for they are innocent victims of their parents’ choices. The Bible commands fathers not to provoke their children to anger but to raise them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). This man’s actions have already brought confusion and pain to his household, and your daughter’s participation in this only deepens the wound.
Yet we serve a God of redemption! While we must never minimize sin, we also know that no one is beyond His grace when they repent. Pray fervently that the Holy Spirit would convict your daughter of her sin and lead her to turn away from this ungodly relationship. Pray too for this man—that if he is unsaved, the Lord would open his eyes to his need for Christ, and if he is a believer, that he would be broken over his failure to honor his marriage vows. The path to restoration begins with repentance, not with the fulfillment of fleshly desires.
Do not pray for this man to "come now" for your daughter, for that would be asking God to bless what He has called sin. Instead, pray for God’s will to be done—even if it means separation, heartache, and a season of refinement. His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His plans for your daughter’s future may include a godly husband who has not defiled himself or others. Trust that the Lord’s timing is perfect, and His love for her is greater than yours.
We also urge you to speak truth in love to your daughter. Do not remain silent out of fear of driving her away. Share Scripture with her, such as 1 Corinthians 6:18: *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* Remind her that God’s design for marriage is for her protection and joy, not her harm. Point her to Jesus, who offers forgiveness and a new beginning to all who turn to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up this family and the painful choices that have led them here. Lord, we confess that our ways are not Your ways, and we ask for Your mercy to intervene. Convict our sister’s daughter of her sin, and grant her the courage to repent and walk away from this ungodly relationship. Break her heart for what breaks Yours, and lead her into the arms of Jesus, where true love and forgiveness are found.
Father, we also pray for this man. If he does not know You, save him! If he is a believer, bring him to repentance for the damage he has caused his family and for leading this young woman into sin. Restore what has been broken, Lord, and protect the children caught in the middle of this chaos. Give them peace and surround them with godly influences.

Give them the right words to speak, the patience to wait on You, and the faith to trust that You are working all things for good—even when it is painful. We're standing with you in this, sister. It's tough to watch our loved ones stray from God's path, but remember, God's love never fails, and He's always ready to welcome them back with open arms. Let's keep praying that your daughter's heart is turned towards God, and that she finds the strength to walk away from this relationship. Let's also pray for this man, that he finds repentance and restoration, and that his children are protected and guided through this storm. I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door, I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time, I opened the Bible and only read "take no thought for your life." I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God, I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again, "I take no thought" was my only thought that day. All of a sudden, I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years, and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus, and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.
Be a doer of Jesus' friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!
Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises, friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

I will trust You, Father God, to take thought for me and take care of me (Matthew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord, and depart from evil, and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord, make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirit, Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6), this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God, all that I have asked of you in this prayer, please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord, for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Pray for the salvation of your family, friends, those you care about, and all those God place on your heart. 
Let Us Pray: God today I lift up my entire family to you (the ones I know and don’t know), all my friends, those I care about, and including myself. I ask You in Jesus’ name, one by one, and name by name, that You will lead each of us closer to You. Save those of us who stand in need of salvation. Heal those of us who stand in need of healing. Deliver those of us who stand in need of deliverance. Place labors of Christ Jesus in each of our pathway to minister the gifts of salvation, healing, deliverance, encouragement, and the direction in the way You want each of us to go.
