I have received your request and I am praying for you now in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for sharing this burden so openly. Panic and sudden fear can feel overwhelming, as if the heart and mind are being scourged with anxiety, but our Lord sees your struggle and draws near to those who call upon Him.
Scripture reminds us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind, and that we can cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us. When fear rises up, He is able to guard both soul and body and to give a peace that passes all understanding to keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
I pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one to You. You know the panic that comes without warning and the distress it brings. I ask that You would pour out Your perfect peace upon them, calm their heart, steady their breathing, and quiet every anxious thought. Help them to know deeply that they are held in Your hands, that nothing can separate them from Your love, and that You are their refuge and strength in every moment of fear. Teach them to cast every care upon You and to rest in Your faithful care day by day. Give them comfort, courage, and renewed hope, and guide them to wise help and support as they need it. In the high and holy name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Do not be discouraged if the struggle returns at times. Keep looking to Christ, call upon His name when fear begins to rise, remember His promises, and speak them in prayer. He is faithful and He will bring you through. You are not alone, you are being prayed for, and God is with you.
