Disciple of Prayer
My daughter experience panic attack now and she is at work place. Pray God sent angel to calm and give her peace. She admit she hold strong grudge against herself for causing the breakoff. May God has mercy on her and grace be upon her to renew her heart. Because of the breakoff, she blamed God why did it even start. May God forgive her for blaming him and patient to see God knows what best for her in his good timing. amen

We join with you in lifting up your daughter before our heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing her need to us so we can seek God together in Jesus name.

We hear the distress in your request and our hearts go out to your daughter as she is experiencing a panic attack at her workplace. We know how overwhelming fear and anxiety can feel in that moment and we also hear that she is carrying a heavy burden of self condemnation over a breakoff and has even blamed God for allowing the relationship to begin. We want to gently and lovingly address these things with truth and grace.

The Lord does not want her to live under a spirit of fear or under a grudge against herself. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. When anxiety rises God invites us to bring it directly to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Jesus Himself says Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful John 14:27. We also cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. God sees her at her workplace right now and He is near to her. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10.

We also hear that she holds a strong grudge against herself for causing the breakoff. The enemy would have us live in self condemnation but God calls us to receive His forgiveness and to walk in freedom. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us Psalm 103:12. If God has forgiven her when she confesses, she can by His grace release that grudge against herself and receive the renewal of heart you prayed for. God promises I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you Ezekiel 36:26 and Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me Psalm 51:10. Blaming God is something many of us have done in pain and God is merciful to forgive when we turn to Him with a repentant heart. He is patient and His mercies are new every morning Lamentations 3:22-23. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. Even a painful breakoff, especially in a courtship that was intended to discern marriage, can be used by God for her good and for His glory as He guides her toward His best in His good timing. We encourage her to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6 and to wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh Psalm 27:14.

You asked that God would send an angel to calm her and give her peace. We share your desire for her to feel comforted and protected and we know that angels are serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation Hebrews 1:14. Yet our peace and our help come directly from God Himself through Jesus Christ and it is to the Father we pray in Jesus name.

We notice your prayer mentions God but not Jesus Christ and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can be forgiven for blaming God, for self condemnation, and for all our sins, and receive peace that endures.

We pray together for her now.

Father in heaven we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this precious daughter to You. You see her in this moment of panic at her workplace, You know her heart, her racing thoughts, her fear, and the weight she carries over this breakoff. Lord we ask You to pour out Your perfect peace upon her now, to calm her mind and body, to steady her breathing and to guard her heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let her feel Your presence with her, that You are near, that You strengthen and help her. Forgive her Father for holding a grudge against herself and for blaming You in her pain. Wash her with Your mercy and grace, cleanse her as she confesses, remove her transgressions as far as the east is from the west, and renew her heart. Create in her a clean heart and a right spirit. Help her to forgive herself as You have forgiven her and to trust that You know what is best for her and that Your timing is good. Give her patience to wait on You and hope for the future You have for her, including if it be Your will a godly marriage that honors You. Let her know she is deeply loved, not condemned, and that You work all things for good for those who love You. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We encourage her to keep turning to Jesus in prayer throughout the day, to speak His promises aloud when fear rises, to breathe slowly and remember He is with her, and to share her struggles with a trusted mature believer. If panic remains intense, we encourage seeking wise counsel and medical support as well, while continuing to trust the Lord as her refuge. We stand with you both and trust God will continue His gracious work in her heart.

We are praying with you for your ### right now, especially as she is trying to get through her workday while feeling so overwhelmed. It is hard to be a parent watching this from a distance and not being able to step in, and we hear how much you love her and want her to know God's peace and mercy in this moment.

Carrying a grudge against herself after the breakup is such a heavy burden, and questioning God about why it happened at all is an honest, human response to pain. We are thankful she has been honest about both. God is not put off by that honesty, He is patient and merciful as she works through the hurt and lets Him renew her heart in His timing. Self blame can take a long time to soften, and often it eases gradually as she receives grace rather than all at once.

When she is home from work, a quiet check in and simply listening without needing to fix everything can mean a lot. If these panic episodes continue, we gently encourage her to reach out to a medical provider or counselor alongside prayer and pastoral support, so she has care for both body and spirit.

Father, we lift this daughter to You in Jesus name. Calm her heart and mind today at work, give her peace and a sense of Your nearness. Have mercy on her, forgive her for blaming You, and gently renew her heart. Help her to release the blame she holds against herself and to trust that You know what is best and will lead her in Your good timing. Comfort her parent as well as they wait and pray. Amen.

Your burden has been carried with you to the throne of grace, and we have pleaded for your daughter in this hour of distress at her workplace.

We have asked the Lord to grant her that perfect peace which He keeps for those whose minds are stayed upon Him because they trust in Him. In this dark world of sin the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace may be enjoyed even when duties press and sorrows surge around. Though winds and waves assault, the vessel is safe while Christ is at the helm, and we have prayed that He would still the panic of her heart and let her rest in His keeping.

There is forgiveness with God, and we rejoice to tell you that it is a full and present forgiveness for all who turn to Him through Jesus Christ alone. The Word says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake. It is not because our sin is small, but because His mercy is great. When guilt is forgiven, the Spirit also works to remove guile, and the soul that has found peace through Christ surrenders the secret chambers of the heart and asks for honest inspection before the Lord. We have prayed that your daughter may know this completeness of pardon, both for the grudge she holds against herself for the breakoff and for the hard thought of blaming God that it ever began. Let her hear the blessed whisper, There is forgiveness, and believe it for herself, for however sinful the past may have been, there is forgiveness with Him even now.

We have also asked that grace may be given her to release that inward accusation and to speak honestly before the Lord, for to speak the heart and to act honestly is the path of peace and happiness for the true believer. The Lord is patient and knows what is best, and His timing is good. To trust His hand in what He permits and in what He withholds is rest.

Our prayer together is this: O Lord, Thou who art our peace, look in mercy upon this daughter in her trouble. Calm her spirit, quiet her trembling heart, and let the peace of God which passes all understanding guard her. Forgive her sins for Christ's sake, cleanse her from self reproach and from charging Thee foolishly, and renew her heart by Thy Spirit. Teach her to stay her mind on Thee and to wait for Thy good and perfect will, trusting that Thou doest all things well. Keep her and her family in Jesus' keeping until Thy perfect peace is fully revealed. Amen.
