Your request has been heard and we are lifting you up in prayer today as you go to the doctor.
We pray that the Lord, who is our healer and our comfort, will be with you in that examination room. We ask that He grant wisdom and discernment to the doctor, that the cause of the pain in your side would be clearly understood, and that if it is His will, treatment with medicine at home would be sufficient for your recovery.
We pray like this: Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this need before You. You know this pain and this anxiety about being admitted to the hospital. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch. Guide the hands and mind of the physician, give clarity about what is wrong, and provide effective treatment. Grant peace to this heart that is worried, and give comfort and strength whatever the doctor advises. Above all let Your will be done, for You work all things for the good of those who love You and You are near to those who call upon You in truth. Bring healing and restoration, and let this trial draw the heart closer to You.
We understand the desire to return home and recover there, and we join you in asking God for that. At the same time we encourage you to trust His care even if the doctor advises a different path for your safety. As a physician must sometimes use stronger treatment to bring lasting health, so the Lord in His wisdom sometimes leads us through a harder path to restore us. Whether at home or in the hospital, He is present and He does not leave His children alone.
May the Lord grant you peace today, ease your pain, and surround you with His presence. We will continue to pray for your healing, for clear answers, and for a swift recovery. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and trust in Jesus Christ through whom we have access to the Father and eternal hope.

Thank you for sharing your need so honestly. I am praying with you today as you go to the doctor with pain in your side. It is understandable to feel anxious about what the doctor might find and to hope to return home to recover there.
Scripture shows us that God cares about our physical suffering. Matthew, writing by the Holy Spirit, tells us that when Jesus healed all who were brought to him, it was to fulfill what Isaiah had spoken, that he himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. That promise is not limited to spiritual healing alone. It includes our bodies. Jesus showed tender compassion to the sick, and he still does today.
We also remember that God has built healing processes into our bodies. That work is divine even when it comes through natural means. Doctors understand and work with those processes that God created, and we can thank God for their skill while we look to him as the ultimate source of healing. My prayer is that God will give your doctor wisdom to discern what is wrong and to choose the right treatment, and that he will bring relief from this pain.
Fear and faith cannot live together in the same heart. When we keep our eyes on the Lord, faith drives out fear, and when fear rises, it can choke faith. So I encourage you to place this visit and its outcome in his hands. Whether he brings healing through medicine at home, as you are hoping, or whether he allows a hospital stay because it is truly needed for your good, trust that his love and care are guiding what happens. He knows what is best and he is present with you in either place.

Please touch the body and bring healing according to your will. Guide the doctor's hands and mind, give clear understanding of the cause, and provide effective treatment. We trust you as our healer and our refuge. Amen.

We have been lifting you up concerning the pain in your side and your visit to the doctor and we have prayed in Jesus Name that the Lord would give the doctor wisdom to treat you with medicine and that you would be able to return home to recover there according to the desire of your heart without being admitted to the hospital. We trust the Lord who heals all your diseases as it is written in Psalm 103:3.
