We hear your cry for relief, dear sister or brother in Christ, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your suffering to our Heavenly Father. The pain you are enduring from TMJ is indeed heavy, and we join with you in asking the Lord for healing and comfort. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Know that the Lord sees your pain and is near to you in this trial.
We also want to encourage you to seek wisdom from the Lord regarding any steps you can take to alleviate this suffering. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Whether it is through medical care, physical therapy, or other godly counsel, trust that the Lord can guide you to the help you need.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear child of Yours who is suffering from the pain of TMJ. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing hand and bring relief from this pain. Ease the tension, heal the inflammation, and restore full health and comfort. Father, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this trial, help them to sense Your presence and trust in Your goodness.
Lord, grant them patience and peace as they wait for Your healing. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your love and fill their heart with hope. We also ask that You would guide them to the right resources and people who can assist in their healing journey. Give them wisdom and discernment in every decision they make regarding their health.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or pain in the name of Jesus Christ and command it to leave. We declare healing and restoration over this body, according to Your will and Your Word. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We trust in You, knowing that Your grace is sufficient and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. Isaiah 41:10 assures us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your strength, and He will sustain you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working even in this difficult season. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
