We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your physical suffering. The pain and discomfort you are experiencing in your stomach is not something to be taken lightly, and we stand with you in faith, believing in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We lift you up in prayer, asking for the Great Physician to touch your body and bring complete healing to your stomach. Lord, we know that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that You are still in the business of healing. We ask that You would calm the storm within, soothe the pain, and restore your digestive system to full health. In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave your body now. We declare that by His stripes, you are healed, as it is written in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
We also encourage you to examine your heart and life, confessing any sins that may be hindering your healing. Psalm 38:3 says, "There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation, neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin." If there is anything in your life that is not pleasing to God, we urge you to repent and turn away from it, so that nothing stands between you and the fullness of God's healing power.
In addition to prayer, we advise you to take practical steps to care for your body. Rest, hydrate, and eat nourishing foods that will not further irritate your stomach. Seek medical attention if your symptoms persist or worsen, as God often works through doctors and medicine to bring healing.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is in need of Your healing touch. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and bring relief to their stomach pain, diarrhea, and tummy ache. We declare that Your healing power is at work in their body even now, and we trust in Your promise that by Jesus' wounds, they are healed. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to rest in the knowledge that You are their Healer. We pray that You would also reveal any areas in their life that need to be surrendered to You, so that they may walk in complete wholeness—body, mind, and spirit. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
