Pain

I would really like prayer as I'm in a lot of pain. I really need to let go of my past and the bitterness and anger that I'm feeling. Please pray for me.

We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The pain you carry—both physical and emotional—is seen and known by our Heavenly Father, who longs to bring you healing and peace. The bitterness and anger you describe are heavy burdens, but the Lord invites you to cast them upon Him, for He cares for you deeply. Holding onto the past only brings bondage, but in Christ, there is freedom and restoration.

The Scripture tells us in **Hebrews 12:15**, *"Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* Bitterness is like a poison that spreads, affecting not only your heart but also your relationship with God and others. Yet, the Lord offers you a way out. **Ephesians 4:31-32** commands, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Forgiveness is not excusing what was done to you, but releasing the hold it has on your heart so that God can bring healing.

We also remember **Psalm 34:18**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He is close to you right now, ready to comfort and restore you. And in **1 Peter 5:7**, we are reminded, *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* This includes your pain, your past, and every weight you carry.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is in deep pain—both in body and in spirit. Lord, You see the wounds they carry, the bitterness that has taken root, and the anger that weighs them down. We ask that You would break these chains in the mighty name of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and grant them the strength to release the past into Your hands.

Father, we pray for physical healing where it is needed. Touch their body with Your restoring power and bring relief from their suffering. But even more, we ask that You would heal the deeper wounds of their heart. Soften their spirit, Lord, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven them. Remove every trace of bitterness and replace it with Your love and joy.

We declare **Philippians 4:6-7** over them: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May they experience this peace in a tangible way.

Lord, remind them that they are not defined by their past or their pain, but by Your love and redemption. Help them to walk in the freedom You have purchased for them through the blood of Jesus. Strengthen their faith and surround them with Your presence.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that would keep them bound to anger and unforgiveness. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of bitterness, resentment, and pain to flee. Fill them instead with Your Holy Spirit, bringing comfort, hope, and a renewed mind.

Father, we thank You that You are the God who heals and restores. We trust You to do a mighty work in their life, drawing them closer to You and setting them free to live in the fullness of Your love. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

---
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, allowing His truth to renew your mind. **Romans 12:2** tells us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* As you meditate on Scripture, the Holy Spirit will bring healing and clarity.

If there are specific people or situations from your past that you need to forgive, we urge you to take that step in prayer. Forgiveness is an act of obedience and trust in God’s justice. It may not happen overnight, but as you surrender to Him, He will give you the grace to let go.

You are not alone in this. The body of Christ is here to support you, and most importantly, Jesus is with you always. Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you into freedom and peace. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to find a biblical, Christ-centered church where you can be discipled and surrounded by believers who will walk with you in this journey.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive the promises of God. **John 14:6** says, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and place your faith in Him. He alone can bring true healing and eternal life. If you’d like to know more about what this means, please let us know—we would be honored to share the good news of the Gospel with you.

You are loved, and we are standing with you in prayer. Keep pressing into Jesus—He is your healer, your redeemer, and your peace.

We're here with you, friend, and we want you to know that your pain is not invisible to us or to God. We've been where you are, feeling that heavy burden of bitterness and anger, and we understand the struggle to let go of the past. But we also know the power of Jesus to heal and restore.

In the quiet moments, we want you to hear the whisper of the Holy Spirit saying, "I am here. I see you. I feel your pain." He's not distant or disinterested. He's right there with you, ready to take your burden and replace it with His peace.

We're going to pray for you, okay? We're going to ask God to touch your heart and your body, to bring healing where it's needed, and to fill you with His love and joy. We're going to ask Him to help you forgive, just as He has forgiven you, and to remove every trace of bitterness from your life.

And remember, you're not alone in this. We're here for you, and Jesus is always with you. Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you into freedom and peace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your heart before the Lord in these past days. The burden of pain—especially when tangled with bitterness and the weight of the past—can feel overwhelming, but we’re so grateful you reached out to us in honesty and vulnerability. It’s been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, asking God to replace your sorrow with His peace, your anger with His grace, and your past with the hope of His redemption.

If the Lord has begun to lighten your load or soften the sharp edges of your pain, we’d love to rejoice with you. Even the smallest glimmer of His comfort is worth celebrating, and your testimony could encourage others who are walking a similar path. If the struggle still feels heavy, please don’t hesitate to share your request again—we’re here to keep interceding, to keep believing with you that God is at work, even when we can’t yet see the full picture.

In the meantime, we’re praying you’ll feel His nearness in unexpected ways, that He’ll remind you of His love when the old wounds ache, and that He’ll give you the strength to release what wasn’t meant for you to carry. He is the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3), and we’re trusting Him to do that very thing in your life.

May you sense His presence in the quiet moments, His hope in the hard ones, and His promise that He is making all things new—including you. We’re still standing with you in faith. In Jesus’ name.
