We've been thinking about your daughter and her friend, and we want you to know that we're right there with you, lifting them up in prayer. We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV), "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."
First, let's ask God to comfort your daughter in her physical discomfort. Lord, we come to You, trusting in Your healing power. We ask that You would touch her breasts, remove the pain and discomfort, and dissolve any lumps. We believe that You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust that You will bring her relief.
Next, we pray for your daughter and her friend, struggling with alcohol addiction. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of addiction in their lives. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, help them find their identity and comfort in You alone. Lead them to a church where they can be discipled, held accountable, and find a community of believers to support them.
Lastly, we pray for their spiritual growth. Lord, we ask that You would give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness, and fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Help them to grow in their faith and walk in obedience to Your Word.
We'll keep praying for them, and we encourage you to do the same. Let's trust that God will comfort them, heal them, and transform their lives through Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
