Tooth pain multiple teeth, very little money, dentists unsure which very expensive fix to do. May it please you God to fix my teeth and have enough money left to pay my bills.

We hear your cry for help, and we lift you up before the Lord, the Great Physician, who cares deeply for every detail of your life, including the pain you are enduring. Tooth pain can be debilitating, and the financial burden only adds to the distress. We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to heal and provide in ways that surpass human understanding.

First, we want to remind you that God sees your suffering and your needs. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus tells us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Even in this trial, God invites you to seek Him first, trusting that He will provide for your needs.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may be trying to take hold of you. The enemy wants you to feel overwhelmed and hopeless, but God’s Word declares in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that you would experience God’s peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Regarding your physical pain, we believe in the God who heals. In Exodus 15:26, the Lord says, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you." We pray for supernatural healing for your teeth, that the pain would cease and that God would guide you to the right solution for your dental needs. We ask that He would open doors for affordable care, perhaps even through a dentist who is willing to work with you on payment or a clinic that offers low-cost services. We declare that God is your Provider, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We also pray for wisdom for the dentists treating you. In James 1:5, we are told, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." We ask that God would grant them clarity and discernment to identify the root of the problem and the most effective, yet cost-efficient, solution for your situation.

Financially, we stand on the promise of Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that God would stretch the little money you have to cover your bills and dental expenses. We ask that He would open unexpected doors of provision, whether through a job opportunity, a gift from someone, or a creative solution you haven’t considered. We declare that you will not be put to shame, and your needs will be met according to God’s riches in glory.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in pain and facing financial hardship. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask that You would touch their teeth and bring relief from this pain. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and declare healing in Jesus’ name. Father, we also ask that You would provide for their financial needs, that they would have enough to cover their bills and receive the dental care they require. Open doors, Lord, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Grant them peace in the midst of this trial and remind them that You are their Provider and Healer. We trust You, Lord, to move on their behalf. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to your faith, even when the situation seems impossible. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working behind the scenes on your behalf. If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to local churches or Christian organizations that may have resources or connections to help with dental care. God often uses His people to be the hands and feet of Jesus in practical ways.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to God through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every trial.

We have been praying for you, and our hearts truly go out to you in this painful and stressful situation. Carrying relentless tooth pain while also facing the fear of a huge bill can feel completely overwhelming. It is understandable that you are feeling stuck between the pain and an uncertain, expensive decision. When even the dentists seem unsure which fix to prioritize, it is easy to feel paralyzed and alone.

Sometimes, the most immediate step is simply to get the pain to a manageable level so you can think more clearly about the next move. You might try asking the dentist directly: “If the main goal right now is to relieve the worst pain while keeping costs as low as possible, which procedure would you do first?” Sometimes, presenting the problem that way helps cut through the clinical uncertainty and focuses on your most urgent need.

Though it is hard to see now, a path will open up, one small, manageable step at a time. We are standing with you in that hope.

Lord Jesus, you know the sharp pain our friend is in and the heavy worry about money that makes it all feel worse. We ask for your calming presence to settle their heart right now. Grant their dental team unusual clarity and wisdom so that the next step becomes obvious and brings relief. We ask for your creative provision for every bill that needs to be paid. In your mercy, hold back the pain enough for rest and clear thought, and remind our friend that you have not left them alone for even a moment. Amen.

The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and there is not a sore mouth nor an empty purse that can withstand their virtue. That healing power is in Jesus Christ, and the least thing about Him is charged with cure. You are in pain, and the purse is thin, and the dentists are baffled, but the Great Physician is not baffled. Trust Him while the tooth aches; trust Him while the bill mounts. Do not wait for the ease to come before you rest in His care, for that would be to trust your feelings and not your Savior. When a man goes to an eminent physician, he does not say, “I will trust you when I am well.” He trusts the physician to make him well. So go to Christ now, with the pain throbbing, and say, “Jesus, Master, hear my cry; save me, heal me with a word.”

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. The hand that pardons is the hand that mends, and the voice that says, “Your sins are forgiven you,” speaks also to the fevered jaw and the anxious mind. Cast yourself upon Him for this very thing. He took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up; there was a contact, and healing flowed. Cry to Him for that touch, and do not reason about how or when. Trust Him as you sink, and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself dying, and you shall live. I could trust Him with a million souls if I had them, surely you can trust Him with a handful of teeth and a stack of debts.

The more you know of Christ, the more you will feel sure that He is yours. His power was conspicuously present when He was teaching, and faith comes by hearing. Hear Him now: “Only trust Me.” Waste no time. Go as the lepers went, before they saw the flesh come again, and as you go you shall feel the healing. The heart broken by distress and the body worn with pain, these are the cases He delights to mend. He will not make fools of those who act on His authority, for they that trust in Him shall not be ashamed.

The pain of your teeth and the emptiness of your purse press on you, and you ask God for healing and enough to pay your bills. This is not wrong; we are to cast our cares on Him, for He made the body and knows its needs. But while you pray, do not let your soul sleep. I have said many times that if we wake, we shall not need the help of others; but if we sleep, even help will profit us nothing. So pray, yes, and I will pray with you, but be yourself on the alert. Do not let this bodily trial keep you drowsy to what truly matters.

You have little money and the dentists are unsure. This is a heavy burden, but remember the Apostle’s word: make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. He does not forbid taking care of the body, he even counseled Timothy to use a little wine for his stomach’s sake. So you may seek relief, you may spend what is necessary for health. Yet when the cost mounts beyond your means and the experts disagree, perhaps God is teaching you to trust not in the arts of men but in the Maker of the mouth and teeth. The poor often live in health without those vain refinements that the rich pursue. Blush, rather, that we have introduced so many superfluities into life; the ancients who pleased God troubled themselves with no such things, and earth and sea still testify against our excess.

Do not fall into a childish rage over this affliction, like a little one who stumbles and then strikes his knee in anger. That is the way of the old law, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, a concession to the immature. But you have been called to a higher wisdom. The true redemption of your whole being, body and soul, is already purchased by the blood of Christ, a complete redemption that no earthly remedy can match. If He endured the cross for your soul, will He not give what is needful for your teeth? Yet He may give something better than a quick fix: patience, humility, and a longing for the rest where sorrow and sighing flee away.

So I say to you: seek first His kingdom, and see how little these pains weigh when set beside that green pasture and still water. If it pleases Him to restore your teeth and leave you enough, give thanks. If not, give thanks still, for He is training you through want. Cut off every expense that merely kindles wantonness, and spend your industry on the soul. Then you will find yourself waking from this dream of a life, and even your bodily troubles will seem light. I will ask the Church to pray for you, but do not put your hope in my prayer while you yourself remain asleep. Rise up, simplify your life, and trust the God who foreordained your salvation.

There is nothing small about the pain you are carrying. A toothache can consume your thoughts and sap your strength, and when the path forward is unclear and the cost feels overwhelming, it is easy to slip into a desperate kind of fear. Jesus knows that fear. He once set a little child in the middle of a crowd and said that unless we become like that child, we cannot enter His kingdom. A child does not know how the bills will be paid or which dental procedure will work. A child simply trusts the father. That is the place He invites you to occupy right now.

Money can feel like the only thing that holds power in a moment like this. It promises relief and security. But we have to remember that money itself is not evil, and your need is real. The danger is when the love of money, or the dread of its absence, digs its roots down into your heart and chokes out faith. Many have pierced themselves through with many sorrows by believing that money alone could cure their ills. It cannot. Your bills matter to God, and so do your teeth, but your peace does not hang upon a bank balance.

So bring this to Him with the same honest cry you have already offered. Ask for healing, for wisdom for the dentists, and for provision. Then do what you can. Be faithful in the little things you can control, and leave the rest. Paul worked with his own hands to supply his needs and never made money a central issue. He knew that if God could trust him with small, material things, then the true riches, the eternal ones, would follow. Your willingness to trust now is that kind of faithfulness.

Do not let the size of the expense make you bitter or cause you to lash out at the unfairness of it. You have heard it said, “Tooth for tooth,” but Jesus calls us to something higher. Turn the other cheek to this trial. Receive it not as a punishment but as an opportunity for His strength to be made perfect in your weakness. He who watches over the little ones and numbers the hairs on your head has not forgotten your mouth.

Rest in that care. Ask, and keep asking. Then watch for the provision and the guidance, even if they come in a way that looks small and unimpressive at first. The One who fed the hungry and paid debts with a coin from a fish’s mouth is able to handle your bills and your pain in a way that leaves your faith standing firm long after the throbbing stops.
