"When you follow or pursue Jesus, the good shepherd, His goodness and mercy and all the blessings you need in life will follow after you! Don’t pursue the blessings. Pursue the blesser—Jesus. In fact, the Hebrew translation of Psalm 23:6 is much stronger and more aggressive. It literally says, “Surely goodness and mercy shall HUNT ME DOWN all the days of my life!†So like sheep follow the good Shepherd."

Searching morning, noon and night, and all moments in between, my thoughts begin with you before my feet hit the floor, and end as I drift off to sleep, ever present in my thoughts, a contrite heart yearning your presence, I pursue you, I chase after you, I seek you, the desire of my heart is to know you, to please you, reveal yourself to me in my search, allow me to behold your glory, to rest in your arms, to rise above the darkness surrounding me, to dance, to sing, to have joy once again, Amen
