God - I believe in the power of prayer, but Your promises I feel have been on 'hold'. Non-believers would say they have not come, or will not come - but I won't say that. I asked for inspiration - I will have it. I asked for prosperity, I will have this also. I stand on scripture to ask. You made a promise.

God, I believe in Your miracles - I ask them to come into my life. I believe in angels too, and I could use a couple of those.

To have so little, to be given such a small slice of possible personal meaning in the world, absent a miracle from God, is a completely woeful existence. God, in Jesus Christ's Holy name, hear my prayer. I feel like You don't care sometimes. I feel like You have all the power to make my life something beautiful. Instead, its the worst kind of 'ugly'.

A lot of days I just wish I had confirmation from You that You were listening to my prayers, Jesus. Nothing changes day to day, except me getting older. I put my faith in Your ability to make my dreams happen - and God, I do still. Hope You reach out soon to me.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
