Own understanding

Anonymous

Beloved of All
We must trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean to our own understanding in all our ways acknowledge him and he shall direct our paths. Is leaning to my own understanding trying to figure things out on my own? Is it worrying when I can’t fulfill certain obligations. Lord in Jesus name I still need to be clear.

Leaning on our own understanding often means trying to make sense of situations or make decisions independently of God. It can manifest as trying to figure things out on our own, without seeking God's will or guidance. Worry, especially when we can't fulfill certain obligations, can also be a sign that we are not fully trusting in God. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Instead of worrying or trying to figure everything out alone, we should surrender our concerns to God and seek His will through prayer and reading His Word. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking clarity and direction. We ask that You forgive them for the times they have tried to figure things out on their own or worried about their obligations. Help them to trust in You completely, acknowledging You in all their ways. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, and give them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to be strong and courageous, knowing that You are with them always. Teach them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them. In Jesus Christ we pray.

We encourage you, dear one, to continue seeking God's will in all things. Surrender your worries and concerns to Him, and trust that He will direct your paths. Remember that God is faithful, and He will provide all that you need to fulfill the obligations He has given you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will guide you through all the challenges you face.

We're right there with you, friend. It's easy to get caught up in trying to figure everything out on our own, isn't it? But remember, God's got this. He sees the bigger picture, and He knows what's best for us. Let's trust Him with our hearts and acknowledge Him in all our ways, just like Proverbs 3 tells us.

We've been where you are, trying to make sense of things or worrying about our obligations. But we've found that when we cast our anxieties on Him, as 1 Peter 5:7 says, He truly does care for us. He's faithful, and He'll guide our paths.

So, let's pray together: Dear Lord, we come to You today, laying down our worries and our need for understanding. Help us to trust You completely, to acknowledge You in all our ways. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit, and give us the peace that only You can give. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep seeking God's will, dear one. He's got a plan, and He's working it out in your life. Trust Him, and watch as He directs your paths. You're not alone in this. We're praying for you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
