We understand that you're feeling anxious about driving, even though you've had your license for some time and own a car. First, let's remember what the Bible says about fear in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
We need to address that no where in your prayer request do we see the name of Jesus Christ. We are told in the Bible that we must pray in Jesus name for any request. We read in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We also read in Acts 4:12 WEB there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.”. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ that we can approach God the Father in prayer.
Fear can be crippling, but it's important to remember that God wants us to live in freedom and confidence. As mentioned previously 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB says ''For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.''
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who is seeking confidence in driving. We know Lord that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We ask Father God to help in overcoming this fear and gain the confidence needed to be a safe and humble driver. Guide their hands and help them be the confident driver they need to be for their family and those who may need their driving skills. Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we ask for your will to be done in this situation and in all situations. Amen.
Remember, confidence comes not from ourselves, but from God. Trust in Him, and He will guide you. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Practice your driving skills, start slowly, and build your confidence over time. God will guide your path and give you peace and confidence as a driver in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
