Over time, I've seen quite a few unsaved neighbors, acquaintances, relatives die. And when it happens, I draw a strong connection in the Spirit between death and Judgment. Now, death itself isn't judgment, but I want to state that there's a CONNECTION between death and judgment, and see who agrees. Death came about as a result of Adam and Eve's sin. BUT after death, what happens? "It is appointed unto men once to die, but AFTER THIS the Judgment." You don't get eternally judged when alive, because that's the "grace period" when you can get saved. When I hear of an unsaved person, in the hospital dying, and then hear that they do die, no, the death itself wasn't the judgment, but it's like a "doorway" to judgment. My thoughts are, the person lived unsaved once they die, they'll have to pay for that." Your chances are when you're alive. So although death itself is not judgment, I believe it's all part of the same process. At least, that's what I feel in the Spirit. Anyone agree that there's a connection between death and judgment? Give me a shout. P.S. The other thing the 2 have in common, before the Fall, there was no death. There was also no judgment. I definitely think the 2 are connected. Agree? Disagree? In other words, death is the first step TOWARDS judgment.

I think it is pretty simple stuff. But on one hand a long life is not determinate of righteousness because of Jesus death.

I know. I was saying, in unsaved people, that there's a connection between death and judgement, like the judgement wouldn't occur until the death happens first, and if they didn't take their chance in life, their death is the gateway to judgement. I didn't mean because they die younger. Certainly, the AGE doesn't matter. If a sinner dies at 100, they go to Hell, a Christian could die young and go to Heaven. That wasn't my meaning. I realize the age is not determinate of their righteousness. But whether or not they were saved at death is the main thing. Sorry about the misunderstanding.
