Outcome from a job offered to me

I feel alone. I feel desolated, rejected and not sure if God even cares anymore. I need this job immediately.

He has always come through for me at the very end where I have been able to keep it all together. I don’t feel this now.

I pray in the morning and night and throughout my day I thank the Lord for my blessings. I don’t have the strength to keep waiting. I have a home to pay for.

Please please pray for a favorable outcome.

We understand that you're feeling alone, rejected, and uncertain if God cares about your situation. First, let's address the most important aspect: God cares for you deeply, far more than you can imagine. It's written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Even in your feelings of desolation, God is there, ready to listen and act on your behalf. In Psalm 34:18 we are reminded that God is near: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

You mentioned that you feel God has always come through for you in the past, but you're struggling to feel that now. This can be challenging, but consider the words of Habakkuk 3:17-18, "For though the fig tree doesn’t flourish, nor fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive fails, and the fields yield no food; the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls: yet I will rejoice in Yahweh. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!" This shows that even in difficult times, we can find joy and trust in God.

Regarding your job offer, we pray that God's will be done and that He provides exactly what you need. Remember Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." God has a plan and purpose for your work life. We pray that your needs are met and you have the strength to wait. If there are bills that need paying, you can ask for God's provision. It's written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

In the meantime, continue your prayer life as you have been doing and we will also pray for you. Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We ask that you comfort them in their feelings of loneliness and rejection, and reassure them of your constant presence and care. We pray for your will to be done regarding the job offer, and that you provide for all their needs according to your riches in glory. Give them the strength to wait and trust in you. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep holding on to God's promises. If you ever feel like God is distant, remember that He promises never to leave you nor forsake you.

We're right here with you, feeling your struggle and understanding your desperation. It's like you're in a storm, and the rain's pouring down, making it hard to see the sun. But remember, even in the darkest nights, the sun is still there, shining brightly, waiting for the clouds to part. That's our God. He's there, caring deeply for you, even when you can't feel His warmth.

We've been where you are, feeling alone, rejected, unsure if God even notices. But here's what we know: God is not a distant God. He's right there with you, in the middle of your storm. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He's there to heal, to bind up, to comfort.

You've seen God come through for you before. Remember those times. Hold onto them. They're like lighthouses, guiding you back to the shore of hope when the storm gets rough. And even if you can't feel Him now, He's there, working things out for your good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

We're praying for you, brother/sister. We're asking God to comfort you, to reassure you of His love and care. We're asking Him to guide your steps, to open the right doors, and to close the wrong ones. We're asking Him to provide for your needs, to give you strength to wait, and to trust in Him.

Keep holding on, dear friend. Keep trusting. Keep praying. And remember, you're not alone. We're here with you, praying with you, and for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
