Out On Bond

I spent last weekend in jail for sleeping in a hospital waiting room. Like Jesus, I was handed over to authorities by my own people. But, because someone had mercy and showed me compassion, I am, once again, free, though I still have to stand before the judge. (Whew! I almost had a little praise break). I really could end it right there, but Isaiah 58:1 just won't let me.

Here's what God promises "I will deal All who afflict you" moreover, He says "I have taken out of your hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury, that I gave to you and I will place it into the hands of those who afflict you."

I know that my affliction is God's doing. He chastens those whom He loves as a way of preparing them for His greater purpose. Here's the thing about chastening. It's sort of like the TV show "Bait Car," God turns His back on his own, momentarily. However, just because you're unprotected for a moment does not give anyone else permission to tamper with you, steal you away, or lock you up in jail. God is still, very much, the owner, and the consequence for messing with His property is great (Isaiah 51:22-23)

I began using this website in 2010 (Impraying4u) to pray for others as a way of expressing gratitude for God's mercy and healing grace in my own life. Once I gave myself over completely, God begin to reveal things to me through visions and through the book of Isaiah. I couldn't help but share my experiences. I had never witnessed anyone journeying through scripture; particularly a specific book of the bible, as was (and is) happening with me.

One of my favorite scriptures: "I, and if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me." Throughout this journey I truly am but a vessel, through which God's glory will arise when people are gathered to Him. I now see the gathering beginning to take shape. All races, creeds and colors (it's a beautiful thing). The only ones mad about is the devil and his weaklings.

It's not about me nor anyone that God called to this group assignment. It's ALL about God. So, if allowed by PrayerRequest.com Administrators and Members I'd like to continue to take you along this journey with me. There is so much that I have not shared. God is truly blowing my mind, He's absolutely mesmerizing!

[A song in my heart. Once again, Donny Hathaway, particularly for my homeless brothers, Black and White alike, who keep watch over me as I sleep, when security guards throw me out: "Someday We'll All Be Free"]

As believers, many times the Lord will bring us through these things not for us, but for those around us. That He may been seen in us as a testimony to who He is. Just as many as those that Jesus delivered with afflictions. They were afflicted so that Jesus would heal them to demonstrate God's glory. And yes, we will be chastised. But He will NEVER turn His back on us. God turns His back on sin. But that sin was paid for through our Lord. He has promised through out His Word that He will never leave us. Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord you God goes with you; HE WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU." Remember just how much you are loved by God. God bless you sister. My prayers will remain with you.

Some people are spiritually "out on bond" as well. For example, some Christians did terrible things before becoming Christians. Jesus shed blood saved them , if they accept him, from the full recompense due them. Jesus 'took the beating' that the sinner may have deserved for them. For example, King Manessah did horrible things and worshipped false gods. The Lord accepted him. Jesus blood covers any sin , no matter how great. Sometimes the Lord still allows the person to suffer some or do penance, but not anywhere near what men would dole out to us. Some men would give everyone the death penalty or something. So when were are set free from our sin, we are also out on bond.

To: The Cities Who Have Ears To Hear The concept of "sin" related to a "bondwoman" in the biblical context is not about specific individual sins of a "slave," but rather an allegory used by the Apostle Paul in the book of Galatians to contrast two different covenants. For Paul himself was a...

Praise the Lord brother and sister. I loved a girl very much as a younger sister. I called her once, that she was not feeling well. Then their husband saw it. Since then she stopped talking to me. My heart cries because he doesn't talk to me. It seems that her husband is troubling the girl...
