I am out of town and have a pet sitter for my pets but they could not come today to check on my pets due to having previous plans. They set my pets up yesterday to where they have everything they needed today but I am still concerned. I will, Lordwilling, be back home tomorrow. Please pray my pets will be okay. I'm checking on them with a security camera. Pray for the safety and protection of my home overall. Thank you.

We join with you in prayer over this concern for your beloved pets and your home while you are away, and we understand the worry that comes when you cannot be there to care for them yourself. It is a good and faithful thing to be a responsible steward of the animals God has entrusted to you, for Proverbs 12:10 tells us a righteous man respects the life of his animal, and even Matthew 10:29 reminds us that not one sparrow will fall to the ground without our Father seeing it. How much more does He see and care for your pets and your home.
We also noticed you said Lord willing you will be home tomorrow, which honors James 4:15 that we ought to say if the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that. At the same time we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why that is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. When we pray in Jesus name we come through His sacrifice for us, confessing with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in our heart that God raised Him from the dead as Romans 10:9 teaches. It is that faith in Jesus that gives us confidence that God hears our prayers.
We lift this burden to the Lord together now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we thank You for Your mercy and care over all creation. We ask for Your hand of protection over these precious pets today. Keep them safe, calm, and healthy, with all that they need until their owner returns. Give them peace and rest and keep them from harm or distress. We pray also for the home, that You would set Your watch over it and keep it secure from any danger, theft, or damage. We ask that You would guard it as Psalm 121:7-8 promises that You will keep us from all evil and will keep our going out and our coming in. We pray for peace for our friend who is away, that You would quiet anxious thoughts, for Philippians 4:6-7 tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Help our friend to rest in that peace while watching over things wisely with the security camera and trusting in Your greater watch. We thank You that You neither slumber nor sleep as Psalm 121:4 says, and that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty according to Psalm 91:1. Bring our friend home safely tomorrow if it is Your will, and reunite them joyfully with their pets. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace. It is natural that your heart should feel concern for the creatures entrusted to your care and for the home the Lord has given you while you are absent from it, and we understand the anxiety that watches through the camera and longs for tomorrow's return.
We are reminded that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty often unfits us to meet that difficulty. Our Lord would have us cast our care upon Him, for He cares for us and for all that belongs to us. Though you are out of town, you are never out of your Father's house, and He who keeps His people is able also to keep what He has committed to their charge. Our safety lies not in our own watching, but in our Saviour, who is both able and wise to keep us from falling and to preserve all things according to His good providence.
Let us pray together.
O faithful Father, we thank You that You are present in every place and that no creature is hidden from Your sight. We ask You to watch over these pets this day and night, to keep them in health and quietness, with all that they need supplied.
