God's eyes are always on His precious children. He neither sleeps nor slumbers but all the time watching them to protect them.
2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are ever before me.
What a privilege we have! Our loving , merciful, mighty and awesome God is keeping us on His palm lovingly watching us each and every second.
Psalm 139 : 1- 26, elaborately gives us an account of His vigilance.
1You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
Malachi 3 : 16
A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name.
So, all our good deeds are recorded in that scroll and He never forgets anything and provides all that we need at the right time as a father does to his children.
The king often had scrolls recorded of his subjects so that he could remember and properly reward for their good deeds (Esther 6:1-11).
While God needs no reminder, He makes a permanent record so that the entire universe will one day know His justification for rewarding the righteous and punishing the wicked.
