Thought Endless supply? It's hard to believe that there is an endless supply of anything! Yet the promise of this passage, even in the context of suffering and difficulty, is that we have an endless supply of love as the Holy Spirit fills our hearts with this love. It is as big as God and is supplied by the Holy Spirit's living inside us as followers of Jesus. We can receive and be blessed by God's love and we have the power to love others out of God's deep reservoir of love.
Prayer O gracious Father, thank you for this promise to fill our hearts with your love! Thank you for your powerful grace, given to me through your Spirit, that enables me to both receive your love and love others as Jesus did. May my life reflect this powerful gift in both good times and hard times. In Jesus' name I thank you. Amen.
