Servant of All
Lord, I need help at work to keep everything simple and not find or have issues in processes or enrollment or helping anyone. May this week run smoothly with all situations. May everyone I help be respectful and understand the process and be nice. Help keep my job responsibilities simple and that any legislation does not affect them. Help that everyone enrolls correctly. Help that others help me in situations which could be problematic. May new leadership not find fault in my program or what I do. Help me to be liked and that others are nice to me. When we are given more work to do, be it simple and not out of someone taking advantage of us. Keep my current supervisor in place until I retire. Keep everything working correctly in my job for the next few years before I retire. Take away any anxiety I have with my job. Help us be able to work from home 100% as decisions are being made by new leadership and companies for our future. Help me complete my work with no issues. Thank you for helping with all the situations which need to be resolved. Watch over our jobs and keep us both employed in our current jobs and safe. Save us both from being let go from our jobs or having our pay cut. Keep us safe in finances and health. Help us be able to retire when we want and that our finances are not hurt by legislation or changing finances in the world.

Help my family with issues at work giving them anxiety. Help calm my anxiety with finances and show me everything will be ok for us now and in the future.

We pray to you and fear not as you walk with us always. Lord, please help with my health. Help put me on a path to becoming healthier and reducing anxiety. Please heal my depression and anxiety and keep me safe. I fear not as you walk with me always. Help my family with anxiety and depression as well.

Help with our taxes that they are submitted correctly. Help us find an easy solution to fixing our door and that we have no damage from hail during storms. Help us to be able to fix our home and that our foundation doesn’t need to be fixed.

Keep family safe in decisions and the changes going on in their lives.

I pray we receive good news and upcoming doctor appointments.

Thank you for answering my prayers and for continuing to always watch over us. I fear not as you are with us always.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for your faithfulness in seeking Him in all these matters, for He cares deeply about every detail of your life. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Yet we also know that we are to bring our requests to God *in the name of Jesus*, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declares in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* So let us always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is by His authority and His sacrifice that our prayers are heard.

You have brought many concerns before the Lord—your work, your family’s well-being, your health, your finances, and your future. These are weighty matters, and it is right to cast them upon Him. However, we must also examine our hearts to ensure that our prayers align with God’s will rather than merely seeking our own comfort or control over circumstances. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Our trust must not be in the stability of our jobs, the favor of man, or the absence of trials, but in the Lord Himself, who is sovereign over all things.

Let us address your requests with Scripture and prayer, trusting that God’s ways are higher than ours and that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

You have asked for simplicity and ease in your work, for respect from others, and for protection from fault-finding by new leadership. While these are understandable desires, we must remember that our ultimate goal is not comfort but Christlikeness. The apostle Paul reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Even if tasks become difficult or leadership changes, we are called to work with excellence, trusting that God sees and rewards our faithfulness. If anxiety arises, we are to cast it upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Proverbs 16:3 also encourages us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."*

You have also expressed a desire to continue working from home and for your current supervisor to remain until retirement. While these requests are not wrong in themselves, we must hold them loosely, submitting to God’s will above our own preferences. Ecclesiastes 7:14 reminds us, *"In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: yes, God has made the one alongside the other, to the end that man shouldn’t find out anything after him."* Whether in the office or at home, under familiar leadership or new, our call is to serve faithfully and trust God’s provision.

Regarding your health, both physical and mental, we know that God is our healer. Psalm 147:3 declares, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* If depression and anxiety weigh heavily upon you or your family, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through pastors, biblical counselors, or medical professionals who align with Scripture. God often uses means—such as community, wisdom, and even medicine—to bring healing. Do not hesitate to reach out for help, for we are not meant to walk this journey alone. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."*

For your finances, remember that our security is not in wealth or the stability of the world’s economy but in God alone. Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* Trust that God will provide for your needs as you seek His kingdom first. If legislation or economic shifts cause concern, recall that our hope is in Him who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17).

For your family, we pray that they too would find their peace in Christ. Anxiety often stems from a lack of trust in God’s sovereignty, so let us encourage one another with the truth of His Word. Isaiah 41:10 assures us, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*

Finally, you mentioned upcoming doctor appointments and a desire for good news. While we pray for favorable outcomes, let us also pray for faith that trusts God regardless of the results. Job, in the midst of great suffering, declared, *"Though he slay me, yet I will trust in him"* (Job 13:15). Our hope is not in the absence of trials but in the God who walks with us through them.

Now, let us pray together over these matters:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear servant who seeks Your face in every area of life. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and that You are intimately acquainted with every concern brought before You today.

We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in their work. Help them to perform their duties with excellence, as unto You, and not unto men. Guard their heart from anxiety over leadership changes, legislation, or the opinions of others. Remind them that their worth and security are found in You alone, not in the approval of man or the stability of their circumstances. If it is Your will for them to continue working from home, we pray You would open that door. But if not, give them grace to adapt with a joyful and content heart. Protect their job and provide for their needs, but more than that, use every situation to draw them closer to You.

For their health—both physical and mental—we ask for Your healing touch. Lord, You know the depths of their struggles with depression and anxiety. Comfort them with Your presence and lead them to the help they need, whether through Your Word, godly counsel, or other means You provide. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their family as well, Lord, and deliver them from fear. May they fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith.

For their finances, we pray for Your provision and wisdom. Help them to steward what You have given with faith and generosity, trusting that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Protect them from financial harm and give them discernment in decisions regarding their home, taxes, and future plans. May they find their security in You alone, not in their savings or the economy.

We lift up their family to You, Lord. Calm their anxieties and draw them into deeper trust in You. Give them unity and strength as they navigate changes and decisions. Be their guide and their shield.

For the upcoming doctor appointments, we pray for Your hand to be upon the results. Whether the news is what they hope for or not, may they rest in Your sovereignty and goodness. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory.

Father, we also thank You for the promise of Your presence. You have said, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). In every trial, every change, and every unknown, You are with them. Help them to walk in that truth daily.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that You would deepen their relationship with You. May they seek You first in all things, finding their joy and peace in Your presence. Draw them closer to You through every circumstance, and use their life as a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer. Memorize Scriptures that combat anxiety, such as Joshua 1:9 (*"Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."*) and Psalm 56:3 (*"When I am afraid, I will trust in you."*). Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and encourage you in the faith.

If there are areas in your life where you feel you are not trusting God fully, ask Him to reveal them to you and to increase your faith. Remember that even in the storms of life, Jesus is in the boat with you (Mark 4:35-41), and He has power over every wave. Trust Him, even when the path is unclear.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
