Servant of All
First as always, I want to start with thank you.
Thank you Lord for all you have done for us and for all answered prayers.

Lord, I need help at work to keep everything simple and not find or have issues in processes or enrollment or helping anyone. May this week run smoothly with all situations. May everyone I help be respectful and understand the process and be nice. Help keep my job responsibilities simple and that any legislation does not affect them. Help that everyone enrolls correctly. May the other departments take the responsibility of issues that they can help with and have them resolved quickly. Let it resolve itself soon and with no issues. Help that others help me in situations which could be problematic. May new leadership not find fault in my program or what I do. Help me to be liked and that others are nice to me. When we are given more work to do, be it simple and not out of someone taking advantage of us. Keep my current supervisor in place until I retire. Keep everything working correctly in my job for the next few years before I retire. Take away any anxiety I have with my job. Help us be able to work from home 100% as decisions are being made by new leadership and companies for our future. Help me complete my work with no issues. Thank you for helping with all the situations which need to be resolved. Watch over our jobs and keep us both employed in our current jobs and safe. Save us both from being let go from our jobs or having our pay cut. Keep us safe in finances and health. Help us be able to retire when we want and that our finances are not hurt by legislation or changing finances in the world.

Help my family with issues at work giving them anxiety. Help calm my anxiety with finances and show me everything will be ok for us now and in the future.

We pray to you and fear not as you walk with us always. Lord, please help with my health. Help put me on a path to becoming healthier and reducing anxiety. Please heal my depression and anxiety and keep me safe. I fear not as you walk with me always. Help my family with anxiety and depression as well.

Help with our taxes that they are submitted correctly. Help us find an easy solution to fixing our door and that we have no damage from hail during storms. Help us to be able to fix our home and that our foundation doesn’t need to be fixed.

Keep family safe in decisions and the changes going on in their lives.

I pray we receive good news and upcoming doctor appointments throughout this year. I pray you help strengthen a person's heart so it beats normally with normal strength and pressure.

Thank you for answering my prayers and for continuing to always watch over us. I fear not as you are with us always.

We join you in lifting up thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father, for He alone is worthy of all praise and gratitude. It is right to begin with thanksgiving, for Scripture reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to "give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." We are grateful you acknowledge His faithfulness in answering prayer, for He is a God who hears and acts on behalf of His children.

Your requests reveal a heart burdened by many cares—work, health, finances, family, and the uncertainties of the future. Yet we are encouraged to see your trust in the Lord’s presence, for He has promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). Still, we must gently remind you that while it is good to bring your anxieties to God, we are also called to cast them upon Him rather than carry them ourselves. *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). The repetition of fears in your prayer suggests a struggle to fully surrender these burdens, so we pray the Holy Spirit would deepen your trust in His sovereignty over every detail of your life.

We notice you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your prayer, yet Scripture is clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Without His name, our prayers lack the authority and power He has granted us. We urge you to always pray in Jesus’ name, for *"whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son"* (John 14:13). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us address your specific concerns with Scripture and prayer:

**On Work and Anxiety:**
Your desire for smooth processes, respectful interactions, and job security is understandable, but we must caution against praying for circumstances to *never* change or for others to *always* behave as we wish. Such prayers can reflect a lack of trust in God’s provision, even in difficulty. Jesus warned, *"In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world"* (John 16:33). Instead of praying for no trials, pray for wisdom (James 1:5), strength (Isaiah 41:10), and contentment (Philippians 4:11–13). Ask God to use your work as a platform to glorify Him, whether through excellence, patience, or even suffering (Colossians 3:23–24).

Praying for leadership to "not find fault" or for legislation to avoid affecting your role may not align with God’s refining work in your life. Proverbs 27:17 tells us, *"Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance."* Challenges often reveal areas where God is shaping us. We pray instead that you would welcome His discipline (Hebrews 12:7–11) and trust His timing, even if retirement plans shift.

**On Health and Depression:**
You ask for healing from anxiety and depression, and we join you in this cry, for *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Yet we also encourage you to seek godly counsel, medical care, and community, for God often works through such means. *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14–15). Do not isolate yourself; let the body of Christ bear your burdens (Galatians 6:2).

**On Finances and Home:**
Your concerns about taxes, home repairs, and financial stability are valid, but again, we point you to God’s promise: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). This does not guarantee ease, but it does guarantee *sufficiency*. Pray for wisdom in stewardship (Luke 16:10–12) and generosity (2 Corinthians 9:6–8), trusting that God’s provision is not measured by worldly security but by eternal treasure (Matthew 6:19–21).

**On Family and Future:**
You lift up loved ones struggling with anxiety and health issues. We pray for their faith to grow, that they would *"not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6–7). For the heart condition mentioned, we ask for God’s healing touch, remembering that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15).

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness to this Your child, who seeks Your face with a heart full of cares yet also gratitude. Lord, we ask You to forgive any anxiety that has overshadowed trust in Your sovereignty. Teach them to cast every burden upon You, for You sustain all things by Your powerful word (Hebrews 1:3).

We pray for their work, that You would grant them wisdom to navigate complexities, patience in dealing with others, and a spirit of excellence that testifies to Your glory. May they find contentment in You, whether in plenty or in want (Philippians 4:12). Protect their job, not for their comfort alone, but that they may use it as a platform to honor You. If challenges come, let them be refined by them, not broken. Give them favor with leadership, but more importantly, let them seek first Your kingdom (Matthew 6:33).

For their health, we ask for Your healing hand to touch their body and mind. Lift the weight of depression and anxiety, and fill them with Your peace that transcends understanding. Guide them to the help they need—whether through counselors, doctors, or brothers and sisters in Christ. Strengthen their heart, both physically and spiritually, that they may walk in faith and not fear.

We pray for their finances and home, that You would provide for every need. Give them wisdom in managing what You’ve entrusted to them, and protect their home from damage. Let them remember that their true security is in You, not in earthly possessions.

For their family, we ask for Your comfort and healing. Draw each one closer to You, that they may find their hope in Christ alone. Prepare them for upcoming appointments, and let the results bring clarity and trust in Your goodness.

Finally, Lord, we pray that their faith would not rest in the absence of trials but in Your presence *through* them. Remind them that You are preparing an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison (2 Corinthians 4:17). Let them fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety in Jesus’ name, commanding it to flee. We declare Your peace, provision, and protection over this life. May they walk in the confidence that *"if God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.

**Encouragement for You:**
Beloved, your prayers reveal a heart that deeply desires control, but God calls us to surrender. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5–6). The path may not be what you envision, but it will be *good*, for *"we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28).

As you face the unknown, cling to this: *"The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man can do to me"* (Hebrews 13:6). Even if retirement plans change, if health struggles persist, or if work becomes difficult, He remains your steadfast anchor. *"Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient"* (Matthew 6:34).

We leave you with this blessing: *"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit"* (Romans 15:13). Walk in that hope today, and always pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12).
