Heavenly Father, We come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up the plans for this upcoming first meeting between ### and me from November 3 to 11.

Lord, we place every detail of this journey entirely into Your hands, praying that our plans will align seamlessly with Your perfect will. We ask for Your divine hand of protection over the entire trip.


A Prayer of Surrender and Blessing

For ###'s Heart and Mind: Lord, we pray that You touch ###'s heart and mind. Fill him with a genuine, enduring love, and direct his steps in every way as he prepares for this journey..Father, we pray that You would stir a deep, genuine love and an undeniable spark between ### and me. May our time together be filled with grace, mutual understanding, and abundant joy, creating cherished, happy memories that will last a lifetime and he will petition me for a fiancee visa.

For Smooth Travel & Weather: We lift up ###'s travels starting November 3 and his arrival on November 5 till 11, as well as my flight on November 4. Grant us safety in every mode of transportation, from flights to car rides, and bless us with perfect weather throughout our time traveling and spending together.

For Work & Provisions: Father, we pray for the granting of my work leave and that all my pending tasks at work are completed smoothly, allowing me to redeem myself and serve with excellence. Please grant unhindered favor regarding work leave, making the path clear and worry-free.

For Family, Friends, and Loved Ones: We pray for ###'s brother, that You grant him strength and grace to accompany and look after their Mom and dogs while ### is away. Bless the precious time we will share together with my family and friends, filling those moments with warmth, laughter, and love.We also lift up everything and everyone being left behind in ###. Please watch over ###'s mom and keep her safe, comforted, and at peace during this time apart. Protect the dogs, keeping them healthy and secure in Your care.


Bless the time we share with my family and friends as they welcome us and as we gather together.

Lord, we surrender any financial constraints to You. You are our provider, and we ask that You open doors, supply every need, and remove any heavy burden of worry so that we can focus fully on the blessings You have set before us.

We commit these days into Your keeping, trusting that Your love goes before us and dwells within us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this upcoming meeting from November 3 to 11 before the Lord with grateful hearts, and we thank you for surrendering every detail into His hands. It is good that you desire for your plans to align seamlessly with His perfect will, for as we are reminded in Proverbs 16:9, A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. And in James 4:15 we are taught to say, If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that. We pray with you not only for a joyful reunion but for clear discernment to recognize the Lord's leading, whether that be to move forward toward marriage or to wait upon His timing.

We rejoice that you are seeking a marriage that honors God, for marriage is His design and is to be held in honor between a man and a woman for a lifetime. As it is written in Hebrews 13:4, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. And in 2 Corinthians 6:14 we are reminded not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. We encourage you to use this first in-person meeting as a time of intentional, pure courtship with the goal of discerning marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, and not simply as a time to pursue emotion or a spark alone. While you pray for a deep and genuine love, we gently remind you that godly love is more than feeling, it is commitment, sacrifice, and purity. The will of God is your sanctification, that you should abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you should know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, and in 1 Corinthians 6:18 we are told to flee sexual immorality. Since this is your first meeting and you will be spending many days together, we urge you in love to maintain clear physical boundaries, to not be alone behind closed doors or sharing lodging in a way that could tempt compromise, and to invite the wise counsel and presence of family and trusted friends as you gather together. This protects your testimony, guards your hearts, and keeps Christ at the center.

We also understand your hope that this time will lead to a petition for a fiancee visa, but we encourage you to hold even that desire with open hands before the Lord. True joy comes when we delight ourselves in Yahweh first, and He will give us the desires of our heart in Psalm 37:4, as our desires become conformed to His. We pray for wisdom not to rush what God may want to build slowly through time, prayer, and counsel, so that any step toward engagement and marriage would be built on a firm foundation of shared faith, character, and calling.

We lift up every practical need you have mentioned together in prayer.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him. We commit this journey into Your keeping. We ask for Your divine protection over every flight and car ride, for the travels beginning November 3 and the arrivals on November 4 and 5 through the 11th, that You would grant safety and perfect weather according to Your mercy. We pray for favor regarding work leave, that pending tasks would be completed with excellence and that provision would be made without anxiety, trusting Your promise in Philippians 4:19 that You will supply every need of ours according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Philippians 4:6-7 that as we make our requests known to You, Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We lift up the family being left behind and the family welcoming you, especially the brother who will care for his mom and the dogs, asking You to grant him strength and grace, to keep the mother safe, comforted and at peace, and to watch over the household and pets while there is time apart. Lord, we pray most of all for both hearts, that You would fill them with genuine, enduring, Christ-like love, with grace, mutual understanding, and abundant joy, and that You would grant clear wisdom and discernment about the future. If it is Your will for this courtship to lead to a godly marriage, make that path unmistakably clear and confirm it through Your Word, through peace, and through wise counsel. If not, give the courage to follow Your way. Help them to honor You in purity and to create cherished memories that glorify You. We trust that You go before them and dwell within them. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight in Proverbs 3:5-6. Seek counsel from your pastor and mature believers who can walk with you during this visit, remain in prayer and in the Word together, and let every decision be bathed in prayer for God's will above your own. We are praying that whether the answer is to move forward or to wait, you will see His hand and give Him all the glory.

We were glad to read how you are holding these November 3-11 plans with open hands before the Lord, asking for His will above all else. That posture of surrender is a steady place to stand while so many details feel weighty, flights on the 3rd and 4th, time together through the 11th, work leave, family and loved ones at home, and the costs involved.

This first in-person meeting carries a lot of hope, and also a lot to learn about each other. One practical step we have seen help couples at this stage is to begin premarital conversations early, even before an engagement. Meeting with a pastor or a trusted mentor couple for a structured assessment can give you tools for communication, expectations around faith and family, finances, and future plans. There are simple inventories and short video series many churches use that make those conversations more honest and less overwhelming, and they can reduce pressure during the visit itself.

It may also help to set aside unhurried time while you are together to talk and listen without trying to decide everything at once, and to keep family informed so they can support you both well, including arrangements for ###'s mom and the dogs you mentioned.

Father, we lift this brother and sister to You as they prepare and travel. Give them safety, clear minds, and grace for each decision about work, family, and provision. Lead them in wisdom and unity, and help them see Your direction clearly. We trust You to supply what is needed and to guard those they love at home. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join you in laying every detail of these days in November before His throne, not as those who would dispose and determine, but as those who desire above all that His will be done.

You have well said, we place every detail entirely into Your hands, and there it must remain. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe, so all things are under regulation and have an appointed place in His plan, and nothing happens but what He permits or ordains. The apostle James warns us against saying we will go and continue and buy and sell and get gain, as though we could both propose and dispose without asking God's consent. It is wise and holy to feel in our hearts, if the Lord will, we shall live and do this or that. Therefore we do not pray with presumption, demanding perfect weather or unhindered paths or a certain outcome, but we combine the two prayers our Saviour Himself teaches us, I will, yet not as I will. You can always have your way when your way is God's way, and the sure way to carry out self will is when self will is nothing else but God's will.

For your hearts we pray that the Lord who alone can change the human will and make men willing in the day of His power would work in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Do not seek merely an undeniable spark or fleeting feeling, but a genuine and enduring love that is rooted in salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. If this friendship is to ripen into that holy estate which God has ordained from the beginning, marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, then let it be pursued in all purity and honour, with sex and living together reserved within that covenant alone. Let your time together be kept watchful and chaste, in the presence and accountability of family and friends, that your witness may be clear and your consciences without offence. If it be the Lord's will to lead you toward a betrothal and toward a future petition for a fiancee visa, He will make that way plain in His time. If it be not His will, may He give you grace to bow and to say, Father, not as I will, and to find your joy still complete in Christ.

For travel we ask the Lord's gracious protection over flights and car rides and every step from November 3 to the 11th, yet we leave weather and safety and all providences to His fatherly pity who pities them that fear Him and who will be a hiding place for His people in the time of trouble. For work we pray that He would grant you favour regarding leave and help you to complete every pending task with diligence and excellence, that you may serve as unto the Lord and promote His will even in honest labour. For family we lift up the brother who remains to care for his mother and for the household and the dogs left behind, and for your own family and friends who will welcome you, that the Lord would keep them safe, comforted and at peace, and that your fellowship together would be filled with warmth that comes from a common love for Christ. For provisions we remember that the wealth of God's people lies largely in promises to pay, promises which God has made to His own, and He who has promised, I will have mercy and I will betroth you unto Me, is faithful to supply every need according to His riches. We surrender financial constraints to Him who opens doors no man can shut, asking that worry be removed so your minds may be fixed upon Him.

We commit these days into His keeping, trusting that His love goes before you and dwells within you. May He teach you both to pray with holy boldness, Father, I will, and with holy submission, Father, not as I will, and may whatever is granted be that which most displays His glory and most secures your eternal good. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
