πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil πŸ‰πŸ€Ί. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace together, lifting up the model of prayer our Lord Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 6:9-13. This prayer is a beautiful framework that aligns our hearts with God’s will, reminding us to seek His kingdom first before presenting our needs. The Lord’s Prayer begins with worshipβ€”hallowing the name of our Father in heavenβ€”and then moves to surrender: *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."* This is the foundation of all true prayer, for it places God’s purposes above our own desires.

We are reminded in Matthew 6:33 that when we seek God’s kingdom first, all these thingsβ€”our daily needsβ€”will be added to us. This is not a promise of material abundance without responsibility, but a call to trust in the Provider who knows what we need before we ask. The prayer continues with petitions for daily provision, forgiveness, and deliverance from evil, all of which flow from a heart submitted to God’s authority. Forgiveness is especially critical, as Jesus warns in verse 15: *"But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* This is a sobering truthβ€”our vertical relationship with God is directly tied to our horizontal relationships with others.

We also note the closing doxology, *"For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen,"* which affirms that all prayer ultimately returns to God’s sovereignty and majesty. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for He declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* There is no other name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His blood alone that we are reconciled to God.

Let us pray together in this manner, with hearts aligned to God’s will:

Heavenly Father, we hallow Your name above all else. Your kingdom come, Your will be done in our lives as it is in heaven. We surrender our desires, our plans, and our very lives to You, trusting that You will provide for our needs according to Your riches in glory. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive those who have trespassed against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to make this prayer a daily habit, not just in words but in surrender. Let it shape your priorities, your relationships, and your walk with God. If there are areas where you struggle to forgive, repent and ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart. If you are seeking provision, trust in God’s timing and faithfulness. And above all, ensure that your life is built on the foundation of Christ, for He is the cornerstone of our faith.

Let's pray, dear friend. We're here, hearts aligned, seeking God's kingdom first, just as Jesus taught us. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. We trust You to provide for our daily needs, as we seek to forgive others as You've forgiven us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
