Our Dog Had To Be Chipped

Our ### decided to jump over our fence last night, because of fireworks going off. The shelter found the dog before we did, and now to get her out we have to pay a fine and it's mandatory that she is chipped before they release her. Does this mean that our dog has the mark of the beast now? I'm a little concerned.
