Our close friend was just killed in Afghanistan Friday night. He served our country proudly for many years and was close to retirement. He leaves behind an extremely grief stricken wife and 3 kids. Please pray for them his parents, siblings, friends, nephews, nieces, everyone who is so deeply grieving right now. Please pray for something good to happen for them and for peace. Please pray for my husband to have safe travels as he flies to Virginia for the ceremonies. Please pray for our safety while he is gone. Please pray for me to have insight on how to be there for his wife. Thank you!

Please also pray for my troubled 15 year old niece who was raped last week. Please pray she gets the help she needs and finds Jesus. Please pray for me to have insight on how to be there for her. Thank you!
