Thank you for sharing your burden with us and allowing us to pray for you. We have heard your request concerning the osteoporosis and the excruciating nerve pain in your back, and the daily suffering this brings at your age. We are praying for you with compassion and taking your need before the Lord.

We serve a God who is able to heal. As the Scriptures show, when Christ touched Peter's mother in law, He not only removed the fever but restored her at once to perfect health, showing His power to do what no physician's art can do. We pray that same power would be at work in your body, to bring relief to your bones and nerves, to ease your pain, and to grant you complete healing according to His mercy and will.

We also remember the word that we are to serve God acceptably with thankfulness in all things, without murmuring, and with reverence. This does not mean your pain is small or that it is wrong to cry out for help. It means that even in trials and in the alleviations of them, we can come humbly before God, trusting His goodness and giving thanks that He hears us, sustains us, and works for our good. And as we care for the body, we are reminded not to neglect the soul, but to seek health in both, for God cares for the whole person, body, mind and spirit.

Let us pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the pain in her back, the weakness in her bones, and the suffering she endures each day. We ask for Your merciful touch upon her body. Ease the nerve pain, strengthen her bones, and grant relief and restoration. Bring healing to every area of her body, mind and spirit as only You can. Grant wisdom to those who provide medical care for her, give her comfort in sleep and in waking, and sustain her with Your peace that passes understanding. Draw her closer to Yourself through this trial, and help her to feel Your presence and love each day. We ask this trusting in Your compassion and power, and submitting to Your perfect will. Amen.

We will continue to keep you in prayer. Please continue to seek care from trusted medical providers, and stay rooted in the Scriptures and in prayer, where the soul finds its strength and comfort. May the Lord bless you, keep you, and grant you His peace and healing in the days ahead.
