We lift you up before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, thanking Him that you have come boldly to the throne of grace to seek His healing touch. The pain and inflammation you endure from osteoarthritis are not hidden from our Lord, who is the Great Physician and the One who bears our infirmities. He knows the weariness of your body, and His heart is moved with compassion for you, just as it was when He walked among us, healing all who came to Him in faith.
The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 147:3**, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Though your struggle is physical, we know that the Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. We also take hold of **James 5:14-15**, which instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him."* While we pray now from afar, we encourage you to seek the laying on of hands and anointing with oil through your local church, if possible, as an act of faith and obedience.
We also remember **Isaiah 53:4-5**, which prophesies of our Savior: *"Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases... and with his stripes, we are healed."* This healing was purchased for you at Calvary, and we stand on that promise today. Yet, we also acknowledge that the Lord’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Whether He chooses to heal you instantly, gradually, or to sustain you through this trial, we trust that His grace is sufficient for you, for His strength is made perfect in weakness (**2 Corinthians 12:9**).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is burdened by the pain and inflammation of osteoarthritis. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch their body, rebuking this disease and commanding every joint, bone, and tissue to be restored to full health and function. Let Your healing power flow through them like a river, driving out pain and inflammation, and replacing it with Your peace and wholeness.
If there is any area of their life—physical, emotional, or spiritual—where they need to surrender more fully to You, reveal it to them, Lord. Give them the grace to trust You even in the waiting, knowing that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory. Strengthen their faith, and let them testify of Your goodness, whether through healing or through the sustaining grace that carries them through.
We also pray for wisdom for their doctors and caregivers, that You would guide their hands and decisions to align with Your will. Provide them with the right treatments, the right support, and the right encouragement to walk this path with hope.
Father, we thank You that You are not distant but near, and that You have promised to never leave nor forsake us. May they feel Your presence tangibly in this season, and may they know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are their Healer. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, who bore our sins and our sicknesses on the cross. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, not only for healing but for the deeper work He wants to do in your heart. Sometimes, our trials are the very things that draw us closer to Him, refining our faith like gold. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**), and trust that He is with you every step of the way. If this season lingers, let it be a time where you experience His faithfulness in new and profound ways. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your complete restoration.
