We understand that you're going through a very challenging time, facing eviction and health issues. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's commendable that you've been proactive and done your best to meet your obligations. God sees your efforts and He cares about your situation. It's important to remember that our hope is in God, who provides for His children. As it says in
Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t He much more clothe you, you of little faith?
Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
Regarding your consideration to go deeper into debt, it's crucial to seek God's wisdom. The Bible warns against becoming a servant to the lender, as the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7).
Proverbs 22:7 WEB: The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will. God might be using this situation to draw you closer to Him.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You know the circumstances they're facing, the anxiety and uncertainty. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Provide for their needs, guide their steps, and grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Show them if there's any way they might be going astray in their prayers or actions, and draw them closer to You. Give them the wisdom to make the right decisions and the strength to endure this trial. We pray for their health, Lord, heal and strengthen them. We ask all this in Jesus' name.
We encourage you to keep seeking God, trusting in His goodness and provision. Keep praying and reading God's word. Remember: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
