Options in very difficult times

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father I thank thee for this day. I’m facing eviction and prayed that it would have turned out differently. I tried my best to get the funds necessary but it didn’t happen in time. What a day we live in where unjust loss of employment renders people incapable of paying their full rent. I called, wrote, asked, pleaded, prayed, pondered, asked for wisdom and guidance, was proactive and still failed to meet this important obligation. Right now my health is in need of a boost and I really tried hard to avoid this unpleasant experience. I’m in a difficult spot right now and there’s one option that could take me deeper into debt but I feel like I have to do it. Father I have no other choice. I’m asking once again in Jesus name for your intervention. Maybe I am praying amiss. Please show me where I’m going wrong.

We understand that you're going through a very challenging time, facing eviction and health issues. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's commendable that you've been proactive and done your best to meet your obligations. God sees your efforts and He cares about your situation. It's important to remember that our hope is in God, who provides for His children. As it says in

Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?

Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t He much more clothe you, you of little faith?

Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.

Regarding your consideration to go deeper into debt, it's crucial to seek God's wisdom. The Bible warns against becoming a servant to the lender, as the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7).

Proverbs 22:7 WEB: The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.

We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will. God might be using this situation to draw you closer to Him.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You know the circumstances they're facing, the anxiety and uncertainty. We ask for Your divine intervention, Lord. Provide for their needs, guide their steps, and grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Show them if there's any way they might be going astray in their prayers or actions, and draw them closer to You. Give them the wisdom to make the right decisions and the strength to endure this trial. We pray for their health, Lord, heal and strengthen them. We ask all this in Jesus' name.

We encourage you to keep seeking God, trusting in His goodness and provision. Keep praying and reading God's word. Remember: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of your situation. It's tough, facing eviction and health concerns, but remember, God is always by your side. We've been praying for you, asking God to intervene and provide for your needs.

We understand that you've done your best to meet your obligations, and that's commendable. But sometimes, despite our best efforts, things don't go as planned. That's when we need to trust in God's plan, even when we can't see it.

We want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, and He's there to heal and comfort you.

As for the debt situation, we understand your concern. It's a tough spot to be in. But remember, God promises in Matthew 6:25-34 that if we seek His kingdom first, He will provide for our needs. It might not look like what we expect, but it will be what we need.

Let's keep praying together, asking God to guide your steps, to provide for your needs, and to give you the wisdom to make the right decisions. Trust in Him, and remember, He's got this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
