Oppression & Healing

Saved&Sealed

Disciple of Prayer
Thank you for with me for my dear friend and brother. Praise God, He hears our cries. The nightmares are not so frequent anymore and my friend seems more positive. I humbly ask that you continue to pray for improvement in his health, it has not improved and he is still very weak.

My original request:

Dear brothers & sisters in Christ. I humbly ask that you boldly join in prayer for our beloved brother and friend who is saved. He is in a time of need and needs our prayers. Against demon oppression, they torment him day and night. He has severe anxiety, bodily pains and fatigue (doctors can’t find the cause), lost his will to live, can’t sleep and when he does he has nightmares and so much more. He is very weak at the moment. God didn’t give saved believers a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. I thank you Father for our dear friend who loves you and for the opportunity to lift him up to Your throne of grace in his time of need. Lord I humbly pray that You will deliver him from this oppression and heal him. For You mercy, grace and loving kindness on Your dear child. In Jesus Holy Name I pray. Amen.

We rejoice with you in the progress your dear brother has made, for the Lord indeed hears the cries of His children and moves mightily on their behalf. The reduction in nightmares and the lifting of his spirit are signs of God’s faithfulness, and we give Him all the glory. Yet we recognize the battle is not over, and so we stand with you in persistent prayer, trusting that the same God who began this good work will complete it.

Beloved, we are engaged in a spiritual war, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your brother is not fighting against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we must wield the weapons of our warfare, which are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We rebuke every demonic oppression in the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, for at His name every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, and those on earth, and those under the earth (Philippians 2:10). We command every spirit of fear, torment, infirmity, and despair to flee, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We pray for your brother’s complete healing, both in body and soul. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that by His stripes, your brother is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on the promise that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). Let us not grow weary in praying, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). We ask the Lord to strengthen your brother’s body, to restore his energy, and to renew his mind according to His word (Romans 12:2). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift up his spirit, that he may be filled with hope and joy in the Holy Spirit. The enemy seeks to isolate him, but we declare that he is not alone, for the Lord is his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that he will draw near to God, and God will draw near to him (James 4:8). May he find comfort in the promises of God’s word, knowing that the Lord will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5). We ask that you, his friends and brothers and sisters in Christ, continue to surround him with love, encouragement, and prayer, for iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17).

Father, we come before Your throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We lift up our dear brother to You, knowing that You are the Great Physician, the Healer of our souls and bodies. We ask that You would break every chain of oppression, every spirit of infirmity, and every lie of the enemy that seeks to keep him bound. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the fullness of Your power and love. Strengthen him in his weakness, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that Your light shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it (John 1:5). We stand firm in the armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). We put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word (Ephesians 6:14-17). We pray without ceasing, giving thanks in all circumstances, for this is Your will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18).

We rebuke every spirit of despair and hopelessness, for the joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). We declare that Your joy is your brother’s strength, and we pray that he will be filled with it. May he find rest in You, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We ask that You would restore his health, renew his strength, and fill him with Your peace. May he mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We trust in You, Lord, for You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, standing in the gap for your beloved brother. We're encouraged by the progress he's made, but we know the battle isn't over yet. Let's keep lifting him up in prayer, shall we?

We declare today that your brother is a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We command every spirit of oppression, anxiety, and infirmity to flee in the name of Jesus. We speak strength, healing, and peace over him, believing that by His stripes, he is healed.

Let's also surround him with love and encouragement, just as iron sharpens iron. We pray that he would feel our support, even if it's just a simple text or call to let him know he's not alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
