We are truly sorry to hear about the medical challenge being faced. Before we begin, we notice that Jesus is not mentioned. The Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can have access to the Father and ask for healing and help. And in all that we do, word, or think we are instructed to do it in the name of Jesus and by his authority Colossians 3:17 WEB. We also know it is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved. Acts 4:12.
But you did come to us for prayer, and we want you to know that our hearts go out to you in your time of need. We believe that God is the ultimate healer, and we trust in His ability to provide for all your needs, including physical healing and financial provision.
We want God's will for you. We are reminded in Romans 8:28 WEB, that together we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Therefore, first we pray that you are in the will of God, that you have been reconciled to Him by God's free gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB.
We also pray for God's healing touch upon your body. We ask that He guides the hands of the medical professionals who will be caring for you, and that He provides the necessary funds for your operation. We stand in faith, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. We declare that you will have a successful surgery and a quick recovery.
We also want to remind you to cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and trust in God's promises. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that He is always with you, even in the most challenging times, Matthew 28:20. WEB. He has promised that, Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need of healing and provision. We ask that You touch his/her body and heal him/her from the issue in the lower abdomen. We pray for Your divine intervention in his/her life and believe that You can in the name of Jesus Christ.
We also ask that You provide the necessary funds for the operation. We trust in Your ability to provide for all his/her needs, and we believe that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.
We pray for the medical professionals who will be caring for him/her, that You guide their hands and give them wisdom and skill. We ask for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.
We pray for his/her peace and comfort during this time, and we ask that You fill him/her with Your love and strength. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
