We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer. Father, we ask You to unveil the spiritual eyes of these adults who were once under this dear one’s care. Open their eyes to the truth of their actions, Lord, that they may see the harm they are causing—both to this individual and to their own souls. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:28, *"Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need."* We rebuke the spirit of theft and deception in Jesus’ name, declaring that their hands would be turned toward righteousness and their hearts toward repentance.
Father, we also pray for restoration—of what has been taken, of trust, and of relationships. Proverbs 6:30-31 warns, *"Men don’t despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry; but if he is found, he shall restore seven times. He shall give all the substance of his house."* Lord, we ask that You convict them of the weight of their sin and lead them to make restitution, not just for the sake of justice, but for the sake of their own souls. May they turn from this path and seek Your forgiveness and transformation.
We also lift up this dear one who has been wronged. Lord, guard their heart against bitterness and resentment. Help them to release this burden to You, trusting in Your justice and provision. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Strengthen them, Father, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of confusion, entitlement, and dishonesty that may be operating in these lives, and we loose the spirit of truth, repentance, and restoration in Jesus’ mighty name. May Your light shine into every dark corner, and may Your grace lead them to a place of wholeness and right standing with You and with others.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
