We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's cancer diagnosis and the challenges you both are facing. Let's bring your concerns to the Lord in prayer and seek His will according to His word.
Firstly, let's pray for your husband's healing and for God's comfort during this difficult time. As it is written in Psalm 302 WEB: "O Lord my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me." We ask God for His healing touch, and we trust in His sovereignty. We do not want your husband to live in fear. In Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB we read, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
We also want to address the issues in your marriage. Even though your husband's family may be focused on his cancer diagnosis, it's crucial to address the problems in your marriage. God sees all things. In 1 Corinthians 13:5 WEB, love "doesn't behave itself inappropriately.".
In this situation, you must be discerning and wise, as it seems there are unresolved issues and possibly unjustified accusations. We must test every spirit and discern. In 1 John 4:1 WEB we read, "Beloved, don't believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. They can provide you with practical help and guidance during this time. It's also essential to set boundaries and protect your emotional and spiritual well-being.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch on his body. Comfort them both during this difficult time, and guide them through the challenges they face. Lord, we also pray for their marriage. We ask that You reveal any areas of darkness and bring them into the light. Help them to communicate effectively and address the issues they are facing. Draw them closer to You and to each other.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for our sister. Help her to set healthy boundaries and protect her emotional and spiritual well-being. Surround her with godly counsel and support.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep praying and believing.
