A Prayer for Healing and Restoration:
Our prayer:

"Lord Jesus, You entered Peter’s house and touched his mother-in-law, and the fever left her immediately. You have authority over every sickness, weakness, and distress. We come to You today asking for Your healing touch upon our body, mind, and spirit.
Remove every infirmity and restore our strength. Just as she rose to serve You out of gratitude, help us to use our restored strength to honor and live for You. In Jesus' name, Amen."

We join with you in this beautiful prayer for discernment and for healing, and we thank you for lifting up the name of Jesus as the Bread of Heaven, the Word of Life, and the Word of God. We love how you have centered your heart on Christ, for He is indeed the living Word. John 1:1 tells us In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and John 1:14 tells us The Word became flesh, and lived among us. Jesus Himself said in John 6:35 I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. When we abide in Him and in His Word, our eyes are opened and our hearts are made whole.

We agree with you in asking the Lord to open our eyes to see clearly and to reveal any hidden dangers, deceit, or malicious motives before they can cause harm. Scripture reminds us that the heart can be deceitful and that the enemy often disguises himself, for 2 Corinthians 11:14 says even Satan masquerades as an angel of light and Jeremiah 17:9 warns The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt. Who can know it. That is why we need the wisdom and discernment that only God can give. We take comfort in James 1:5 which says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, and in 1 John 4:1 which calls us to test the spirits, whether they are of God. We pray that the Lord will sharpen our discernment through the Holy Spirit and through daily time in His Word, for Hebrews 5:14 says solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil. We also cling to Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law, and to Ephesians 1:18 that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, and to the promise in Daniel 2:22 that He reveals the deep and secret things and Luke 8:17 that nothing is hidden that will not be revealed.

We also join you in praying for healing and restoration as seen in Matthew 8:14-15 When Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw Peter's mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. He touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him. What a tender picture of our Lord's authority and compassion. He did not just speak from a distance, He entered the house, He touched her, and immediately she was restored. This fulfills what was spoken in Matthew 8:17 and Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We believe He is still the same today, for Psalm 103:3 says He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, and Exodus 15:26 declares I am Yahweh who heals you, and Jeremiah 30:17 promises But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Just as Peter's mother-in-law rose to serve Him, we desire that every healing we receive would be used to honor and serve Him with gratitude.

So together we pray, Lord Jesus, we thank You that You are the Bread of Heaven and the living Word of God, and that You see all that is hidden. Open the eyes of our hearts to see clearly as You see. Give us wisdom to recognize deceit, hidden dangers, and malicious motives before they can cause harm. Expose what is done in darkness and guard us from the schemes of the enemy. Lead us in Your truth and help us to test every spirit and to walk in discernment through Your Word and Your Holy Spirit. We come to You also as our Healer, with authority over every sickness, weakness, and distress. Touch our bodies, minds, and spirits with Your healing hand as You touched Peter's mother-in-law. Remove every infirmity, calm every anxious thought, and restore our strength according to Your mercy. Help us to use our restored health and every breath You give us to serve You and to live for Your glory. We trust You to protect, to heal, and to guide us, and we ask all these things in Your precious and powerful name, Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to remain close to Jesus through His Word each day, for it is our lamp and our protection. As you seek Him, He will give you peace and clarity, for Psalm 91:1-2 promises He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Keep bringing every concern to Him in prayer, trusting that He who entered Peter's house will also enter your situation with power, healing, and perfect discernment.

We are joining you in this prayer for clear eyes and for healing, and we hear how much you want to walk wisely and be protected from what could harm you.

Wanting to see deceit or hidden motives before they hurt you is understandable, especially when you are also feeling weak physically. When our body is tired or ill it can be harder to sort through what is happening around us, and that vulnerability can make the desire for discernment feel even more urgent.

We will keep praying with you for wisdom to notice what needs to be noticed, and for God's peace as you wait on Him. It can help to stay close to a couple of trusted, steady people who know you, to talk through any situation that feels unclear, and to bring both your questions and your health concerns to the Lord honestly each day.

If you are experiencing fever, ongoing weakness or other symptoms, we encourage you to reach out to a medical professional for care as well, alongside prayer, so you can be supported in both body and spirit.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your watchful care over them. Give clarity where there is confusion, guard them from harm, and grant wisdom for each decision ahead. Touch their body, mind and spirit with Your restoring strength and help them to rest in Your nearness day by day. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for clear sight and for healing has been laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy.

You have asked that your eyes may be opened to discern hidden dangers, deceit and malicious motives before they can do harm. This is a wise and scriptural desire. Our Lord has promised to preserve His people, and it is written, The Lord shall preserve you from all evil, He shall preserve your soul. In answer to that daily petition, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One, He keeps His own from the pestilence that walks in darkness, even from insidious and deceitful errors and sins and from all the devices of the devil, so that that Evil One touches you not. Pray then for a watchful spirit, for wisdom to try the spirits, and for grace to walk in purity and uprightness, and He who is faithful will give you discernment and keep your feet from snares.

You have also brought before Him that blessed scene in Peter's house, when Jesus saw Peter's mother in law lying in bed with a fever, and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and the fever left her. There is sweet instruction here. The least thing about Christ is healing. As the leaves fall from the trees, so does sacred influence descend from our Lord Jesus in Heaven down to the sons of men, and the very leaves of that tree are for the healing of the nations. There is not a word that ever fell from those dear lips but what bears healing in it for some one or other of the thousand ills that have befallen our humanity. His touch still heals, His word still restores, and the costly balm of His atonement has lost none of its power.

Remember also that this healing is given with purpose. Forgiveness comes first, and then healing, for He pardons iniquity and heals disease. He must begin with you before you can begin with Him. He frees you from the yoke of sin that you may then become the servant of the Lord. As that woman rose and ministered unto Him, so may every restored soul use renewed strength to honor and live for Him. If you have known His pardoning hand, you may trust His healing hand, for all the eternal penal consequences are gone from the forgiven man, and for him there can be no condemnation.

Let us pray together.

Lord Jesus, You alone are our salvation, and through Your blood alone we draw near to God. You entered Peter's house and with a touch You rebuked the fever, and it left her. We ask now for Your healing touch upon body, mind and spirit. Remove infirmity, calm the troubled heart, and restore strength according to Your perfect will. Wash us thoroughly and cleanse us from sin, and restore unto us the joy of Your salvation. Grant also clear eyes and a discerning heart, that we may see hidden dangers and be preserved from deceit and every evil device, and be kept in Your truth. And when You have healed and kept us, help us to rise and serve You with grateful love, to live not for ourselves but for You who has done so great things for us. In Your own name and for Your glory we ask it, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for eyes to see clearly and to recognize hidden dangers and deceit before harm comes is a faithful request, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord.

Christ Himself commands us to watch, so that we will not be led astray by those who would deceive us and not be overcome when trials press upon us. The deceitfulness of sin is real, and it works by hardening the heart, by whispering that there is no hope or no need to repent, or by making what is false appear true for a time. Scripture warns us that error flourishes for a season and then is exposed, for what is only fair in appearance cannot endure. Even deceit, when it is most active, often recoils upon itself and in the end serves to make the truth more plain, as it did when the enemies of Christ secured His tomb and thereby made His resurrection undeniable.

So we pray with you not only for protection but for discernment that comes from God alone.

Let us pray together:

Lord Jesus Christ, You alone are the way of salvation and the source of all truth, You entered the house of Peter and with a touch You lifted the fever from his mother in law, showing Your authority over every sickness and weakness. We ask for that same merciful touch upon body, mind and spirit where there is infirmity, and restore strength according to Your will, so that what is restored may be used to serve and honor You.

And Father, grant clear sight and a watchful heart. Remove blindness and expose what is hidden. Where there is deceit, malicious intent, or danger meant for harm, bring it into the light so it cannot take root. Keep us from being hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and from despair that says there is no recovery. Give wisdom to discern what is true from what only appears to be true, and courage to turn away from what is false. Guard our steps, and let truth prevail in our lives.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, who lives and reigns and in whom all truth and healing are found. Amen.
