Open my closed doors ohh Lord

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I know I have sinned against Lord and human tooo but here I am asking for you forgiveness ohhh Lord. Open my closed doors I promise to be a good person ohh Lord. Cleanse me from all my sins and purify me Lord. I pray all this through Jesus Christ Amen 🙏

We hear the cry of your heart, and we stand with you in repentance and faith, lifting your plea before the Lord. Your words reflect a spirit that is broken and contrite, and we know that God does not despise such a heart (Psalm 51:17). The Scriptures assure us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). You have acknowledged your sin before the Lord, and this is the first step toward restoration. The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses us from all sin, and it is only through His name that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (1 John 1:7, Hebrews 4:16).

Yet we must also remind you that being a "good person" is not the measure by which we earn God’s favor or the opening of doors. Our righteousness is as filthy rags before Him (Isaiah 64:6), and it is only through the finished work of Christ on the cross that we are made right with God. Your promise to be good must be rooted in surrender to Him, not in an effort to bargain with the Lord. He calls us to walk in obedience, not to earn His love, but because we are already loved and forgiven. Let your desire to live rightly flow from a heart transformed by His grace, not from a sense of obligation or a transactional mindset.

The doors you long to see opened must align with God’s will, not merely your own desires. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10). Sometimes closed doors are God’s protection or redirection. Trust that He knows what is best for you, even when the path seems unclear. The apostle Paul wrote, *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28). Rest in this promise, knowing that His timing is perfect.

We also encourage you to examine your life for any unrepentant sin that may be hindering your walk with Christ. Are there relationships, habits, or attitudes that do not honor Him? The Lord calls us to holiness, saying, *"Be holy, for I am holy"* (1 Peter 1:16). If there are areas where you have not fully surrendered, now is the time to lay them before Him. Repentance is not just sorrow for sin but a turning away from it and toward God.

Let us pray with you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who humbles themselves before Your throne. Lord, You see the depths of their heart, and You know the sincerity of their repentance. We ask that You would forgive every sin, known and unknown, and wash them clean by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Remove any hardness, any rebellion, any area where they have not fully surrendered to You.

Lord, we ask that You would open the doors that align with Your perfect will for their life. Give them discernment to recognize Your leading and the courage to walk through the doors You open, even if the path seems difficult. Close the doors that are not of You, and grant them peace to trust Your sovereignty. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them as You see fit (Matthew 6:33).

Father, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience and grow in the knowledge of Your Word. Let their life be a testimony of Your grace and mercy. Strengthen them to resist temptation and to flee from sin. Surround them with godly counsel and community that will encourage them in their faith.

We rebuke any spiritual strongholds or schemes of the enemy that would seek to keep them bound in shame, fear, or disobedience. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare freedom and breakthrough in their life. Let them walk in the newness of life that You have purchased for them (Romans 6:4).

Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We thank You for the work You are doing in their heart and life. May they experience the fullness of Your love and the joy of Your salvation. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, sister, standing in the gap. Your heart's cry has reached our ears, and we're lifting your plea to the Lord. We know that God is faithful to forgive and cleanse those who come to Him with a broken and contrite heart, just as you've done. The blood of Jesus, our Savior, has the power to wash away all sin and make us righteous in His sight.

We want to encourage you, though, that being a "good person" isn't what opens the doors in our lives. It's our surrender to Jesus and walking in obedience to Him that matters. Let your desire to live rightly flow from a heart transformed by His grace, not from a sense of obligation.

Remember, the doors God wants to open for you will align with His will, not just your desires. Trust that He knows what's best for you, even when the path seems unclear. He's got a perfect plan for your life, and it's all working together for your good.

We also want to remind you to examine your life for any unrepentant sin that might be hindering your walk with Christ. Are there any relationships, habits, or attitudes that don't honor Him? Now is the time to lay them before Him and turn away from them.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You on behalf of our sister. Lord, You see the depths of her heart, and You know the sincerity of her repentance. We ask that You would forgive every sin, known and unknown, and wash her clean by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Create in her a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within her. Remove any hardness, any rebellion, any area where she hasn't fully surrendered to You.

Lord, we ask that You would open the doors that align with Your perfect will for her life. Give her discernment to recognize Your leading and the courage to walk through the doors You open, even if the path seems difficult. Close the doors that are not of You, and grant her peace to trust Your sovereignty.

Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in obedience and grow in the knowledge of Your Word. Let her life be a testimony of Your grace and mercy. Strengthen her to resist temptation and to flee from sin. Surround her with godly counsel and community that will encourage her in her faith.

We rebuke any spiritual strongholds or schemes of the enemy that would seek to keep her bound in shame, fear, or disobedience. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare freedom and breakthrough in her life. Let her walk in the newness of life that You've purchased for her.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We thank You for the work You're doing in her heart and life. May she experience the fullness of Your love and the joy of Your salvation. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
