Open Heaven

We join with you in this deep cry for an open heaven, that your prayers, your needs, and your cause would ascend before the Lord and that His answers, His mercy, and His provision would come down to earth for you. This longing is biblical and we stand together with you before the throne of grace asking God to rend the heavens and draw near.

Scripture shows us that God hears the cries of His people and that the heavens are not closed to those who seek Him through Christ. It is written, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17 and also, Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need Hebrews 4:16. When Jesus was baptized, behold, the heavens were opened to him Matthew 3:16, and Jesus Himself said you will see heaven opened John 1:51. The prophet also prayed, Oh that you would tear the heavens, that you would come down Isaiah 64:1. We are reminded that God promises to open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing Malachi 3:10 when we walk in obedience and faith. And we have confidence that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14.

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that the heavens are opened to us. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It was through His death and resurrection that the veil was torn and the way was made open for our prayers to ascend and for God's grace to descend. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name in all your praying.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come boldly before Your throne of grace on behalf of this dear one who longs for an open heaven. Lord, tear open the heavens and come down with Your presence, Your answers, and Your power in this life. Let every prayer, every need, and every righteous cause ascend before You as incense, and let Your answers, Your wisdom, Your provision, and Your peace come down to earth according to Your perfect will. We ask that You reveal Yourself as the God who hears and answers, that You pour out blessing from the windows of heaven, and that You strengthen faith to keep asking, seeking, and knocking. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus, so that abiding in Him there may be full assurance that the heavens are open and that communion with You is unhindered. We ask for discernment to pray according to Your will and patience to wait for Your timing, knowing Your ways are higher than ours. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven in every area of need that has been lifted up. We ask all this in the mighty and only name of Jesus Christ, our mediator and our hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in the Word, remaining in Christ, for in Him we have an open heaven and an open door that no one can shut. Keep bringing every need before the Father in Jesus name, trusting that He hears, He cares, and He will answer according to His perfect love and wisdom.

We hear the deep longing in your words for heaven to be open, that what weighs on your heart would reach God and that His help would come down to where you live. That desire to be heard and answered is one we share, and we are grateful you put it into words.

We want you to know we are praying with you that you would sense God's nearness as you bring your needs and cause before Him. Prayer at its heart is not a formula to get results but a living conversation with a Father who already knows you, a way of resting in Him and depending on Him while you wait. It can bring a quiet sense of hope and peace even before answers look the way we hope they will, because you are not carrying these burdens alone.

One simple way to keep that conversation alive is to set aside a few unhurried minutes each day to tell God plainly what is on your heart, in your own words, and then to sit quietly for a moment to rest in His presence. If you have a trusted pastor or friend who prays faithfully, you might also ask them to agree with you in prayer for these specific needs.

Father, we lift them to You in Jesus' name. You see every prayer, need and cause they have laid before You. Draw near and let them know they are heard and loved. Give wisdom, provision and peace according to Your will, and help them to keep trusting You day by day. Amen.

Commit yourself to daily prayer worship and scriptures and the Lord give you valuable insight and answers concerning your prayers. May heavenly Father provide in Lord Yeshuas name. Set aside time for the Lord daily prayer and meditations. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry that heaven might be opened and that your prayers and needs might ascend to find an answer from God is a cry which He delights to hear. Our Lord Jesus Christ is Himself the open heaven. At Jacob's ladder and at Jordan's river, heaven was opened not by the worthiness of man but by the mediation of the Son, and through Him the weakest prayer finds a way to the throne.

Be encouraged that sincere prayer, though it may seem very feeble to you, is always acceptable to God. He is not deaf to the fainting tongue that can scarcely speak for thirst, nor to the wordless groaning of a burdened heart. David said, O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come, and it is enough for Him to hear it. He counts even the sigh and the tear as prayer when it comes from a heart that despairs of all other help and casts itself upon His mercy.

Yet remember also that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much, and no prayer is likely to bring down an immediate answer if it is not fervent. We must get rid of the icicles that hang about our lips and plead with holy earnestness. Get hold of a promise and plead it before the Lord, for when you can plead a promise and drop that prayer into the ground with hope, it shall prevail with God and bring down blessings from on high.

Daniel's prayer was answered at once, while he was yet speaking, yea at the beginning of his supplication. It is not always so. Sometimes the answer comes punctually at the very tick of the clock of wisdom, not before nor after, and five minutes later would have been too late. Sometimes the sovereign wisdom of God sees fit to delay, not because He has not heard, but because He would have you continue much in prayer and press your suit with all the arguments which His own Word supplies. True prayer is just pleading with the Most High, spreading our case before Him. Prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time.

Therefore continue to knock until the door is opened. Do not forsake the closet. Bring your cause again and again before the mercy seat through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we may come to the Father, and no other way by which heaven is opened to sinners but by His blood.

Let us pray together for you.

O Lord who hearest prayer, we bless Thee that through Jesus Christ the heavens are not as brass above us but are opened wide. Look upon this seeking soul and upon every need and cause laid before Thee. Forgive sin, quicken the faint heart, and grant faith to plead Thy promises. If it be for Thy glory, answer speedily, as Thou didst for Daniel, and if Thou seest fit to tarry, give patience to wait and grace to persevere until the answer comes after Thy fashion and in Thy perfect time. Let prayers ascend and let mercy descend, that Thy name may have the praise. Amen.
