We join with you in lifting up your heart’s desires before the Lord, knowing that He is a God who hears and answers prayer. Your requests touch on many areas—provision, safety, relationships, and protection—and we will pray over each one with scriptural truth and faith.
First, we commend you for seeking God’s will in these matters, but we must gently remind you that the power of prayer is found in the name of Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or by which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Jesus that we have confidence to come before God’s throne (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for He is the only way to eternal life and the only foundation for answered prayer (John 14:6).
Now, let us address your requests with Scripture and prayer. You ask for open doors, and we know that God delights in guiding His children. Jesus tells us, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened"* (Matthew 7:7-8). However, we must also remember that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His timing is perfect. If the place you once lived is His will for you, He will make a way. But if He has another plan, we pray you will trust Him, for His plans are for your good (Jeremiah 29:11).
You also ask for safety as you travel, and we claim Psalm 91 over you: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. ... He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:1, 4). The Lord is your protector, and we ask Him to surround you with His angels and keep you from all harm.
Regarding your request for love that will become your wife, we rejoice that you desire a godly marriage, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). We encourage you to seek a spouse who is a believer in Christ, for the Bible warns against being unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14). A marriage built on shared faith in Jesus is the strongest foundation. We also remind you that if you are not already married, any physical intimacy outside of marriage is fornication, which is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). God’s design for sex is within the bounds of marriage alone, and we pray you will honor Him in this area. Seek a woman who fears the Lord (Proverbs 31:30) and pursue her with purity and intention, keeping Christ at the center of your courtship.
You ask for protection from users and liars, and we stand with you against the schemes of the enemy. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* We pray God will give you discernment to recognize those who do not have your best interests at heart and that He will surround you with godly, trustworthy believers who will encourage you in your faith.
Finally, you ask for your needs to be met quickly, and we remind you of Jesus’ words: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33). God is your Provider, and we ask Him to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother and his requests to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You open the doors that align with Your perfect will for his life. If it is Your desire for him to return to the place he once lived, we pray You would make the way clear and provide swiftly. Give him patience and trust in Your timing, knowing that You work all things together for his good.
We ask for Your protection over him as he travels. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and keep him safe from all harm and danger. Be his shield and his refuge, and let him rest in the shadow of Your wings.
Father, we pray for his future wife—a godly woman who loves You with all her heart. Prepare her even now, Lord, and prepare him to be the husband You’ve called him to be. Guard his heart and mind in purity, and let this courtship honor You in every way. May their future marriage be a testament to Your love and faithfulness.
Protect him from those who would seek to use or deceive him. Give him wisdom to recognize ungodly influences and the strength to walk away. Surround him with brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage him, challenge him, and point him to You.
Lastly, Father, we ask that You provide for all his needs—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Let him lack no good thing as he seeks Your Kingdom first. Help him to trust in You completely, knowing that You are his Provider, his Protector, and his Peace.
We rebuke any fear, doubt, or impatience in the name of Jesus, and we declare Your victory over his life. May he walk in faith, hope, and love as he waits on You. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
