Faithful Servant
🙌🏼 Shall not God bring about justice for His elect who cry out day and night? I tell you he will answer them speedily," Luke 18:7-8. Father, I ask I find and accept the best job opportunity immediately, while I am still praying, Isa 65:24. Open a door no one can shut, Rev 3:8, lead me to the BEST job right away. I ask for favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, may it have Christian Ownership and ethical management, so the company is governed with integrity, 1 Sam 23: 3, 4. I ask it have excellent scheduling, operations, workmanship, customer service & sales practices. I ask for a base salary and commission. I ask for medical benefits, dental, vision and 401K. I pray it allows me to attend prayer meetings, evangelism outreach and go to the gym (day job, M-F), Isa 62:6, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, 2 Tim 4:5.. Grant me joy in the process and enjoyable work (Col 3:23, Ecc 5:18-19). Thank You for hearing, for we have confidence that when You hear, we have the petitions we asked, 1 John 5:14-15, through Jesus Name, amen.

We join with you in lifting up this request for godly employment, trusting in the Lord’s perfect timing and provision. Your heart’s cry aligns with Scripture, and we are encouraged by your faith in God’s promises—particularly in Luke 18:7-8, where Jesus assures us that our Heavenly Father will bring about justice speedily for His elect who cry out to Him day and night. It is good that you have brought your request before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the confidence that He hears us (John 14:13-14, 1 John 5:14-15).

Your desire for a job that honors God—one with Christian ownership, ethical management, and the freedom to live out your faith—reflects a heart that seeks first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). We commend you for prioritizing a workplace that aligns with biblical integrity, where you can grow in your walk with Christ while also providing for your needs. The request for favor as a shield (Psalm 5:12) and for joy in your work (Ecclesiastes 5:18-19) is pleasing to the Lord, who delights in blessing His children with good things.

We also take note of your specific requests for benefits, scheduling, and opportunities to engage in ministry and self-care. While these are practical and understandable desires, we encourage you to hold them with an open hand, trusting that God knows what is best for you—even if His provision looks different from what you envision. Remember that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and He may use this season to refine your trust in Him. The apostle Paul learned the secret of being content in all circumstances, whether in abundance or in need (Philippians 4:11-13). May the Lord grant you that same peace as you wait upon Him.

Let us also remind you that work, while a blessing, is not the ultimate source of your identity or fulfillment. Your worth is found in Christ alone (Colossians 3:23-24), and any job—no matter how ideal—is temporary compared to the eternal glory awaiting those who serve Him faithfully. Use this time of seeking to draw closer to the Lord, to serve where you are now with excellence, and to prepare your heart for whatever door He opens.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your divine provision for employment. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust that You see their need and hear their cry. You have promised in Your Word that when we ask according to Your will, You hear us, and we have the petitions we have asked of You (1 John 5:14-15). We ask that You open a door for them that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), a door that leads to a job where they can thrive spiritually, financially, and emotionally.

Grant them favor in the sight of those who make hiring decisions, and let integrity and skillfulness mark their work (Proverbs 22:29). Father, if it is Your will, provide a workplace with godly leadership, ethical practices, and opportunities for them to grow in their faith while also meeting their practical needs. We ask for Your wisdom to guide their steps, that they may recognize Your leading and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we also pray that You prepare their heart for this season of transition. If there are areas where their trust in You needs to grow, strengthen them. If there are idols of comfort, security, or self-reliance, expose and remove them. Teach them to find their joy in You alone, regardless of their circumstances. May they use this time to seek Your Kingdom first, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, impatience, or discouragement that may try to take root in their heart. Fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7) and with the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them joy in the process, and let them see this season as an opportunity to witness Your faithfulness.

Finally, Father, we ask that this job—whatever it may be—be a platform for them to shine as a light in a dark world (Matthew 5:16). May they have opportunities to share the Gospel, to encourage fellow believers, and to live out their faith with boldness. Let their work be a testament to Your goodness, and may they glorify You in all they do.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be praised in their life, and may they walk in the confidence that You are their Provider, their Shield, and their Reward. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We're right there with you, friend, as you seek God's will in your employment. We're inspired by your faith and trust in God's promises, especially in Luke 18:7-8. We believe that God has a perfect plan for you, and He will bring it to pass in His perfect timing.

We join you in asking for a job that honors God, with Christian ownership, ethical management, and the freedom to live out your faith. We also echo your desire for joy in your work, as seen in Colossians 3:23-24. Remember, God delights in blessing His children with good things (Matthew 7:11).

We're also praying for specific benefits, scheduling, and opportunities for ministry and self-care. We trust that God knows what's best for you, even if it looks different from what you envision. Let's hold these requests with open hands, trusting that God's ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

In the meantime, let's draw closer to the Lord, serve where we are now with excellence, and prepare our hearts for whatever door He opens. We're here for you, praying together:

Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your divine provision for employment. We rebuke any spirit of fear, impatience, or discouragement, and fill them instead with Your peace and assurance that You are working all things together for their good. Give them joy in the process, and let them see this season as an opportunity to witness Your faithfulness. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
