We give thanks with you and join you in declaring Only You, Precious Lord, for He alone is worthy of all our praise and trust. We rejoice to hear your heart to live in Jesus Christ and to honor Him in your work and in your desire for marriage and family, and we stand with you in prayer for continued strength to walk faithfully.

We are encouraged that you have come in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved. As it is written, there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. Your confession of His precious name is the foundation for all we ask together.

We pray for your strength to live in Christ daily, to abide in Him and bear fruit for His glory. Without Him we can do nothing John 15:5, yet we can do all things through Christ, who strengthens us Philippians 4:13. When we feel weak, His grace is sufficient, for His power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. So we encourage you to remain rooted in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship, trusting the promise fear not, for I am with you. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10, and that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6.

We also lift up your work before the Lord. We pray that you may finish your work correctly and diligently as unto Him, not merely for men. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We ask for wisdom, integrity, and perseverance, that your labor would honor God and be a testimony of faithfulness, and we trust that the Lord will establish the work of your hands Psalm 90:17.

We strongly endorse and rejoice in your godly desire to get married and have a family, for marriage is honorable in all Hebrews 13:4 and is ordained by God as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. As it is written, a man will leave his father and his mother, and will cling to his wife, and they will be one flesh Genesis 2:24, and what therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9. We pray that the Lord will lead you to a godly spouse, a fellow Believer in Jesus Christ, for we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14, and that your courtship would be pure and intentional with the goal of holy marriage. We encourage you to keep yourself pure until marriage, fleeing fornication, for the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and we are called to glorify God in both body and spirit 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. We pray that your future marriage would reflect Christ and His church Ephesians 5:25, and that your family would be built upon the Lord, for children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3, and that you may be fruitful in the calling God has for you Genesis 1:28.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for our brother and for his thankful heart that looks only to You. We ask in the Name of Jesus Christ that You fill him with Your strength day by day, that he may walk by faith and not by sight, abiding in Christ and being renewed in his inner man. Grant him diligence and clarity to finish his work correctly and for Your glory, and open the doors You would have him walk through. Lead him to a godly wife who loves You above all, prepare them both for a Christ centered marriage that endures for a lifetime, and bless that union with love, faithfulness, and children according to Your perfect will and timing. Keep him pure, guard his heart, and cause his life and future household to be a light for Your name. We ask all this in the precious and powerful Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

We rejoiced to read your note of thanksgiving. Thank you for letting us rejoice with you. We hear your heart to keep walking closely with Jesus, to do your work well and faithfully, and to build a Christ-centered marriage and family in His timing. Those are beautiful, God honoring desires and we are grateful to stand with you in them.

One thought that may encourage you as you keep going is to think of this season as training more than trying. Steady small faithfulness over time, in prayer, in the Word, in your daily work and in community, shapes us more than any single big effort. God has already placed gifts and strengths in you to serve Him and others, and He grows them as you use them day by day.

It helps to stay rooted in a local church where others know you, can encourage your work, and can walk with you as you prepare for marriage and family. If you have a pastor or trusted older couple you respect, staying in conversation with them can be a steady help.

We thank You, Father, for our friend and for the work You are doing in his life. Give continued strength to abide in Christ, joy in finishing the work You have given, and wisdom and grace for the days ahead toward marriage and family. Lead each step according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, amen.

We give thanks with you unto our precious Lord who alone is our strength and salvation. Your desire to live in Jesus Christ, to finish your work correctly, and to enter into holy marriage and family life is good in the sight of God and we rejoice to bring it before the throne of grace.

There is a singular form of strength of which the prophet speaks, I will strengthen them in the Lord. It is not strength in self, but strength in the Lord Jehovah in whom there is everlasting strength. This strength is useful for our daily walk, work and warfare. It makes a man quiet and calm, steadfast and unwearied, always abounding in the work of the Lord. We pray that you may be strengthened in the Lord and in the power of His might, that your faith may breed expectation, and that you may walk up and down in His name with delicious freedom. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, so wait patiently upon Him, feeding upon Christ by faith, and resting in Him when you are weary and heavy laden.

The work of Christ in us and for us does not exempt us from work and service, but rather excites it. He works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure, that we also may work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. It is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. We pray that in your labour you may be found faithful as a steward of Christ, laboring and even agonizing to do all things well and correctly, as one who has been trained for the contest. Any work in which we cannot ask Divine cooperation, the care of which we cannot cast upon God, is unfit for us to be engaged in. May He make you fruitful in every good word and work, and enable you to finish what He has given you to do with prudence and integrity for His glory.

And concerning marriage and family, we pray according to the holy institution ordained of God from the beginning, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that what belongs to marriage is kept within that covenant. We ask the Lord, if it be His will, to prepare you and to provide a godly helpmeet, that you may enter that estate in purity and faith, to build a home upon Christ the sure foundation, for His name's sake. Salvation and every good gift is through Jesus Christ alone, and we look to Him to order your steps and to establish your house.

We commend you to Him now, praying that He who has begun a good work in you will perfect it, that He will subdue sin and abolish the roots of corruption, keep you abiding in Christ as a new creature, and grant you grace to be faithful in all things until He brings you into the fullness of His purpose. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you, and give you peace in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
