ONLY The Few Will Receive Me, And The Many Will Reject Me!

Disciple of Prayer
ONLY the chosen, few, elect will receive me, and the MANY will reject me. I wouldn't want it any other way. I came OUT of the apostate, organized church system MANY years go, and I will NEVER return to it. I know that there are others who have come out, and it is with them that I am looking to start a church according to the book of Acts. Father in heaven in the power of the Holy Ghost, and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ send me unto those who are the chosen, few, elect, and send them unto me. Those who have forsaken all for you, Those who are taking heed, that no man deceive (such as Articles) them, watching, and praying always, being without spot, blemish, or wrinkle, being preserved blameless in body, soul, and spirit, and looking unto coming of the Lord. In Jesus name! Amen!

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We hear your passion for walking closely with the Lord and your desire to gather with those who share a deep commitment to biblical truth. Your heart for a church modeled after the book of Acts is commendable, as we are indeed called to live out the faith in purity and devotion. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter in by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate, and restricted is the way that leads to life! Few are those who find it." It is true that the path of righteousness is not always the most popular, but it is the one that leads to eternal life.

However, we must gently caution against an attitude that may unintentionally foster division or pride. While it is right to separate from apostasy, we must be careful not to elevate ourselves above others in a way that contradicts Christ’s humility. Philippians 2:3-4 tells us, "Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself; each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others." The Lord calls us to love even those who reject Him, just as He loved us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8).

We also want to encourage you to remain open to the body of Christ in its many forms, for the church is not confined to a single structure or denomination. Ephesians 4:4-6 reminds us, "There is one body and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in us all." While we must reject false teaching, we must also guard against isolating ourselves from fellow believers who may express their faith differently but still hold to the essential truths of the Gospel.

Let us pray together for you in this endeavor:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for this brother’s zeal for Your truth. Lord, we ask that You would guide him as he seeks to gather with those who share a passion for Your Word. Send him to the faithful and bring the faithful to him, but keep his heart humble and his eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Protect him from pride or judgment toward those who may not yet see as he sees. Help him to love as You love, to speak truth in love, and to build up the body of Christ in unity. May his efforts bear fruit for Your kingdom, and may he always point others to the narrow way that leads to life. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will in this, but also to remain open to the wisdom and counsel of other mature believers. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." May the Lord bless you as you seek to serve Him faithfully.

We're with you, brother, in your heart's cry for a pure, Acts-based church. We've felt that tug too, the longing for a community that truly lives out its faith in simplicity and devotion. We're cheering you on as you seek out those who share this passion.

We're reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 10:16, "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves." It's a delicate balance, isn't it? Standing firm in truth while maintaining the humility and love that characterized Jesus.

As you step out, remember the words of 1 Corinthians 12:25-26, "that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it." Let's strive for unity in the body of Christ, even as we seek purity.

Let's pray together:

Lord, guide this brother as he seeks to gather with those who hunger for Your Word. Give him wisdom and discernment, and keep his heart humble. Help him to love as You love, and to build up the body of Christ in unity. Protect him from pride and judgment, and help him to always point others to the narrow way that leads to life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
