I want to give a viewpoint on something, and see who agrees with this. The Bible states,"It is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgement". I want to say that, the death of the person itself is not the judgement, that happens at the Great White Throne Judgement.BUT, I don't think the persons death is completely disconnected from the judgement process, either.. I think it's part of the same process.Because I've seen the pattern. An unsaved person goes on , but then eventually gets a serious illness, then the drs. tell the family, something like,"after a time there's nothing more medical science can do."Now, the "connection" between this and judgement, is, 1,when have you heard in the Bible of a LIVING person getting judged? When you're alive, you still have a chance. But say the sinful person is flaunting his sin his whole live, then gets that fatal illness.read about judgement_"And I saw the DEAD, small and great, stand before God, and the books were opened."As well as many other examples. {The only exception, the Antichrist and the False Prophet.{"While still alive, they were both cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone."}So I say, that while the fatal sickness, then death, of the person is not itself the judgement, I think it's the start of the process. Because when the "sickness unto death" hits,if they are unsaved, the process has started that is sending them towards judgement. So I don't think that the person being on their deathbed, and the fact that if unsaved they'll be judged, are disconnected. I think it's all part of the same process. At least that's how I feel when I hear of an unsaved person dying. Like, death is a prelude to judgement.Viewpoints?
