On my heart

God has put on my heart someone that has hurt a family member 2.5 years ago. (We've both forgiven him) Even though it's been that long I still feel that the Holy Spirit is leading me to pray for him. He hasn't been able to disconnect from my life or my family members either. He'll go for a couple of months and then reconnect with one of us. I feel like he needs our prayers and yours to get his life right with God. He uses things to make himself feel better but we all know that only Jesus can do that for him.

Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
