We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child to our Heavenly Father. The pain of seeing a little one suffer is profound, and we join with you in seeking God’s healing touch. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to restore what has been broken and bring complete healing to her brain and lungs.

Father God, we ask You to stretch out Your healing hand over this child. Where there is damage, bring restoration. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is fear, bring Your perfect peace. We pray for the medical team caring for her, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom beyond their own understanding. We ask that You would remove every obstacle to her recovery and fill her with vitality and joy.

We also lift up her family, Lord. The weight of this trial is heavy, and we ask that You would be their comfort and strength. Give them patience in the waiting, hope in the midst of uncertainty, and faith that You are working all things together for good. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take hold in this situation. We declare that this child is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life over her body, mind, and spirit, trusting in Your power to heal and restore.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Matthew 8:17). It is only through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will for this child’s life.

May this little one grow up to know You, Lord, and may her life be a testimony to Your faithfulness. We ask that You would bless her with a future filled with hope, free from worry, and full of Your love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Even when the medical picture feels overwhelming, you are not alone. Others have walked similar roads and found that moments of comfort come not from having all the answers, but from knowing that God’s presence never leaves, even in the ICU, even through the long nights. We hold onto that with you.

We also want to offer a simple encouragement: keep telling her story to people who will pray. Sometimes our own strength runs low, and letting others carry the burden in prayer for a while can be a lifeline. If you have a church family or a few trusted friends, invite them to pray specifically for her ### and ###, and for wisdom for her doctors.

We will pray now:

Father, we bring this tiny girl to You. Her life is precious in Your sight. We ask for Your healing hand on her ### and ###, restore what has been damaged, calm the ###, and give her body strength to grow and thrive. Be with her family, who love her so deeply, and give them steady hope. Grant her medical team insight and skill. Whatever the future holds, let her know love and comfort, and may Your peace wrap around this whole household. We trust her to You, the One who formed her and never leaves her. Even the leaves of the Tree of Life carry healing for the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of restoring power. How much more, then, shall His tender touch be upon this tiny lamb, so young and so deeply taught in the school of pain? The infant cast out in Ezekiel’s vision could do nothing for itself, no speech, no strength, no hope apart from Divine intervention, and yet the Eternal One passed by and said, “Live.” That same sovereign voice can speak life into those damaged lungs and that little brain. There is no case beyond His reach, for healing and pardon flow together from the hand that was nailed to the tree.

You ask for restoration of health and a good life without worries. The Great Physician does not merely diagnose our frailty; He pours in the remedy. At Calvary the healing balm is dispensed freely, and when Jesus healed the palsied man, He first forgave his sins, then commanded him to rise. So it is here: the forgiveness that covers every sin is the sweet companion of the healing that mends every wound. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and not even the smallest infant is beneath His notice. Did not our Lord take little children in His arms and bless them? The same hands that fashioned the heavens can knit together what is broken in this child’s frame.

It is well with the child when God takes an infant to Himself, Scripture whispers comfort over every early grave, for where sin abounded, grace superabounds. Yet we also plead for a full work of healing this side of glory, that she may grow and know the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. The same look from Christ that restored Peter after his bitter fall can fall upon this household with quickening power. That look severed Peter from the crowd and brought him back to his first love. So may this season of trial become the hour of visitation, when teaching and healing run together and faith rises within you.

Do not wander from the wounded side of Jesus. There is no profit in despair when He stands ready to heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds. A parent’s anguish before a suffering child is a brokenness known to the Most High, but He is the mender of every fracture. Bring this little one before Him continually, believing that the virtue which flowed from His hem still flows today. He restores the years the locust has eaten; He can make this child a living testimony that His leaves are indeed for the healing of the nations.

The suffering of such a little one moves the heart, and it is natural to mourn. Yet take care that this sorrow not be only worldly grief, which gnaws and gives no comfort. Worldly sorrow over loss or sickness repairs nothing; indeed, it often deepens the wound. But there is a sorrow according to God, a grief that turns us to Him, and that alone brings true healing and hope.

You ask prayer for her brain and lungs, for a good life without worries. We will pray, night and day, exceedingly, as the Apostle did for the churches. God is able to restore her health, just as He gave sight to the blind man by His own word. But know this: the life we now live, even one free from illness, is but a plaything.

The houses we build, the comforts we seek, all are childish things compared to the unshakeable kingdom. Do not set your heart on a life without worries here, for such a life does not exist. The greatest healing is that of the soul, which endures forever. Pray therefore first that this child be embraced by the love of Christ, for love surpasses even the gift of healing.

If God grants physical restoration, let it be for His glory, not for human vainglory. If He takes her to Himself, she will be healed utterly, where there is no sickness or pain. Cease from anxious fretting, which is a worldly sorrow. Instead, offer her into the hands of the One who knows what is best.

And you who have come seeking prayer, hear the word: God often works through many entreaties, even when we see no immediate fruit. Do not be insensible to the call to trust. He who confirmed His power through miracles is more to be believed than all our forebodings. May both you and this child obtain mercy and the everlasting blessings.
