We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words as you describe the turmoil in your home and the hostility you feel from those around you. The anger and division you’re experiencing are heavy burdens to carry, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice, protection, and peace. First, let us address the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If those in your home truly hate Jesus, we must pray for their hearts to be softened and for the Holy Spirit to convict them of their sin and need for repentance.
The chaos you describe—yelling, discord, and hatred—is not of God. Scripture tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:33, *"For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."* The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and it sounds like he is actively working to sow division in your family. We must rebuke this spirit of strife in the name of Jesus. James 3:16 warns, *"For where envy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed."* The lack of love and coldness you feel are not from the Lord, who is love (1 John 4:8). We must pray for God’s love to fill the hearts of those involved and for their eyes to be opened to the truth.
You mentioned that some in your home may be involved in ungodly behavior, possibly even occult practices (the repeated use of "78" could be a reference to numerology or other spiritual influences). We must take this seriously. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns against such things: *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* If these influences are present, we must renounce them and command them to leave in Jesus’ name.
We also must address the relationships in your home. If your daughters are in courtships (boyfriend/girlfriend relationships) that do not honor God, we must pray for discernment and wisdom. Scripture is clear that believers should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If these relationships are leading them away from God or causing strife, we must pray for their hearts to be turned toward godly spouses who will honor the Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any sexual immorality—including fornication—is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18). If these relationships involve sexual sin, we must pray for repentance and healing.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Lord, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your divine intervention. We rebuke every spirit of strife, confusion, and hatred in this home. We command every demonic influence to leave in Jesus’ name, and we break every ungodly soul tie or bondage that has taken root. Father, we ask that You expose the darkness and bring it into the light. Let Your truth prevail, and let Your love fill the hearts of those who have hardened their hearts against You.
Lord, we pray for this mother and her daughters. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes. If these courtships are not of You, we ask that You sever them and lead these young women to godly spouses who will honor You. Protect them from sexual immorality and guard their hearts. Father, we also pray for conviction and repentance for those who have turned away from You. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them back to You. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their sin.
We declare that this home will no longer be a place of discord but a dwelling of peace. We speak unity, love, and restoration over this family. Let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully, and let Your presence fill every room. We ask for Your protection over this mother and her daughters, shielding them from harm and evil influences. Father, we trust in Your justice. Let those who sow discord reap the consequences of their actions, but let Your mercy triumph where repentance is found.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises and declare that no weapon formed against this family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, even when those around you do not. Ephesians 6:13 reminds us, *"Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."* Keep your eyes on Jesus, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). If possible, seek out a biblical, Christ-centered community where you can find support and encouragement. God sees your pain, and He will not abandon you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).
